If you watch a lot of my art store vlogs, which has been your favorite so far??
ОтветитьOMG I LOVE HOBBYCRAFT,the stuff you mostly need are cheap the only expensive things are fabric or high gear machines
Ответить"I need to get a baby from somewhere so I can make this"
ОтветитьI’m going to the UK in May, so as an artist, I need to see this video for I can go to the art store and just buy stuff-
ОтветитьWe always think of Hobbycraft as extremely expensive! I think you’re the first person I’ve known whose described it as reasonable! I’m surprised it has more craft stuff then Michaels, I’ve always wanted to go to Michaels! My dream is to do a trolly dash in Hobbycraft and be allowed to just grab craft kit after craft kit (and then ribbon!). Post Pals buys so much stuff from The Works, it’s our go to place for craft kits for the kids.
Loved your enthusiasm!
When I lived in North Carolina I loved visiting hobby lobby
ОтветитьIts actually so big in here it’s an actual tardis -Chloe 2023
ОтветитьI love hobby craft
ОтветитьThey have a whole Sennelier display behind her...
ОтветитьI am a professional artist and I personally prefer Golden paints. They have the largest pigment load compared to any of the other brands that you mentioned. Now if I am going to paint a commission job using an XL canvas I just use acrylic house paint. You can pick house paint here at the city or county recycle centers for FREE! Free is most often my favorite option, lol. I did enjoy watching you shop the UK art store. It is fun to see what other places carry.
Ответить1 year after post
ОтветитьI prefer the works over hobbycraft just cause of the pricing! Hobbycraft is so expensive in comparison!
However I find hobbycraft stores are easier to access. Hobbycraft stores near me tend to be on the outskirts of towns on retail parks with free parking! The Works stores tend to be in town centres where I have to pay for parking… or in garden centres where I have to try not to buy anything from the garden centre 😂
My favorite part of the video is where you test and try out the products that you bought
Ответитьcan y take paint on a plain?
ОтветитьI just recently discovered your channel and have enjoyed watching! Rae Dizzle mentioned you in one of her videos. Thanks for sharing so many fun, crafty thoughts! I love your enthusiasm!
ОтветитьHobby Craft is literally England's equivalent to Hobby Lobby!
ОтветитьIt amazes me how British your accent is after so long in USA
ОтветитьI use the big Crawford and Black paint tubes!
They're so good. I bought mine maybe a year or so ago? And they're still going. Though I will have to use more professional paint tubes for brighter or more specialised colours (like Violet, Green(sometimes), orange, magenta, etc... which I buy in the Crawford and Black sets)
I've lived in the UK my entire life and I LOVE the Works
Any other art supplies I'll get in The Range or online.
I also thought you'd lived in the UK a lot longer than you had. The accent I guess.
My hair does the same thing, specifically cause I live in the South West (not too far from Bath) and the humidity makes it go poof
as a crocheter beautiful yarn
ОтветитьCrawford and Black, and Boldmere are The Works own brand and are absolutely awful.
Ответитьif it was me I just throw out my clothes any buy more art supplyies :)))
ОтветитьI've always wanted paint pens (mainly posca pens)
ОтветитьI love all of your videos!!!
ОтветитьYou can mail your art supplies home so you don't have to carry them. That's what I used to do when I traveled.
Ответитьyou were 2 minutes away from my house.... the Bath hobbycraft is 2. MINUTES. FROM. MY. HOUSE.
ОтветитьChloe:Very cheap
Me:Umm
i live in the uk
I simply can't understand how you kept your beautiful British accent living in the US for so many years.
ОтветитьAh Chloe, I would not worry about using bathroom or toilet and even shop or store. I use them interchangeably myself. Shop to me is small where store is like huge as in HobbyCraft or Michaels. For being un the US for a long time you have not lost your accent.
ОтветитьSo then why do u have an accent?
Ответитьcrocheting is a very fun hobby :) it takes some time but is very relaxing;)
ОтветитьMy favorite part was when she said it’s a lot smaller and then when she went in she said wow it’s so big In side the store
ОтветитьSo I don't need a massive haul, I just watched you and I shall pretend 🤣😅 okay okay you caught me I've already maxed out my card god dammit. Art brushes, wax crayons, acrylic, watercolour and sketchbook paper and the list continues. Just guna go sell more stuff🏃
ОтветитьOmg I’m one minute in and find you go to hobby craft in my city 😱😱😱😱😱
ОтветитьIf it's british and crap, call it art!
ОтветитьYou should do a video about using all these art supplies you bought
ОтветитьWho else thought Chloe’s accent is bit Australian?
Ответить“There is a lot of hobby and craft stuff in here”
In Hobby Craft? Really? I’d never have guessed
Chloe you have never knife painted acrylic?
ОтветитьLike others have said, I always think of Hobbycraft as a little expensive. I tend to look at products in there then find them cheaper online. The Works is almost a joke shop. My friends and I will always laugh if someone suggests going in as if it's embarrassing to admit you like it. Apart from canvasses, there's nothing in there for serious art.
ОтветитьHaving lived in the Uk all my life, I always though hobby craft was extremely expensive for all the little crafts (bits and bobs). Didn’t realise that it was much more pricy over your way!
ОтветитьA lovely video. Hope you got everything back to the States undamaged.
ОтветитьI lived in Scotland for 15 months back in 2019. I was beyond disappointed when invested in new Promarkers from Windsor and Newton from Hobby craft. I spent over £40 on new markers just for every colour be incorrect. For example if a marker barrel showed sienna it was more a mustard brown. Red was a muddy reddish purple. Honestly I found way better deals for artist grade supplies at TKMaxx. They had Copic and other brands cheaper than the art stores.
ОтветитьI'm on holiday in Wales at the moment and before I leave to go back to South Africa I need to visit The Works, everything arts and crafts is frightfully expensive in South Africa. I'm interested in candle making at the moment so need to stock up before I leave the UK.
ОтветитьWhen I buy scrapbooking supplies from the USA when visiting I just ship them back. Yes you have to wait 3 months but it’s a lovely surprise when it arrives, it’s fun unboxing. So why not get a big box, buy what you want and ship it back?
ОтветитьThe shops in the UK are The Range Hobby craft and The Works I've found hobbycraft to be the most expensive
ОтветитьHi im British and love hobby craft it is expensive bit its worth it i would do research before investing x
ОтветитьLove your art store videos!
ОтветитьNice, my local hobby craft!
ОтветитьYou are from the uk
