Hi Athena. Regarding the quality of the water, I must be one of the lucky ones. Where I live, in Denmark, we still got good quality water in our tabs. But I'm sure that we eventually have to add flouride. Otherwise I'd like to thank you for some inspirational videos.

The fluoride in our water keeps our teeth from rotting and falling out. The only negative effect that amount of fluoride has on the human body is that kids' teeth can look weird when they're growing. That's it. Look at the actual medical research.

First off, if you don't like my opinion that is YOUR own problem and why don't you keep it to YOURSELF? Also, if Athena wants to share her viewpoints on water that's fine.. I just wish she would do it in a SEPARATE video. The TITLE of this video says it is about MASSAGE--so it isn't unreasonable of me to want it to focus on how to give a massage, not irrelevant viewpoints. And "we" appreciate the lecturing? Have you not noticed the "likes" of my comment--others don't want lecturing, either!

I do disagree with her statements regarding fluoridated water. Fluoride was introduced into tap water in the 1930s. Were the amounts introduced enough to poison us, by now thousands, if not millions, of Americans would show the effects of such poisoning. No such epidemic has ever surfaced. On the other hand, dental health has improved enormously - except in areas that do not have fluoridated water, primarily in isolated river valleys in Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia.

If companies were seeking to make money from our poor health, it would make more sense to CEASE fluoridating water, in order to take advantage of the serious ill-effects of rotting teeth and gums. That is not happening. I simply have to disagree with her statements on fluoride.

Would you want to watch a video that said it would show you how to do yoga poses and then have the instructor spend a great deal of time listing problems they have with the government? Or watch a video saying it would tell you how to make a recipe and then focus on global warming? Psychetruth has great videos, I just think they should focus on their title.

Can you make a massage video for migraine and any advice for it. I get them almost everyday, i have to take a medication every night to prevent it from happening but I don't like relying on medicine. I want a natural cure if possible

Well here's the thing. You're a massage therapist and some of us actually work the dental field. Fluoride is not "toxic". You don't even know what it does. If you did your research or had an accredited certificate or degree in the dental field. You'd know that cavities in children rose from taking fluoride out of "city water." You also need polish because the ridges on your teeth attract bacteria. Both prevent cavities.

I definitely appreciate you sharing your knowledge with us, if you were forcing it down our throats it would be a different thing, but you’re not, you’re allowing us to be aware. Being proactive in well being gives peace of mind, awareness of our surroundings gives peace of mind.
Giving suggestions in order to help our clients is necessary, that’s a role of a therapist. Don’t prescribe but share knowledge and let them choose.

I learned nothing because she basically didn’t explain any of the techniques and now I’m even more stressed because of how angry she is about everything. Honestly if you are so angry about water quality while living in a place like North America. You really need to check your privileges. I came from a developing country and I can’t begin to tell you how actually bad the water is there, and I can guarantee that’s probably the case for the majority of the world except for a few very developed countries such as the one she probably lives in.

I tell my clients the same thing about the toxins in our food, water, and medicine. Massage and chiropractic are natural forms of healing and healing starts from the inside out.
