Wow every one of those colors are beautiful
Ответитьliterally me realizing that i havent liked the way my paintings have turned out because im barely desaturating. THANK U
ОтветитьI'm watching this while I do my homework and it's so relaxing
ОтветитьMy question is should you do a big batch of color once you color match so you don't run of the color that you created ?
ОтветитьAwesome teacher and color mixing information! After years of having color wheel knowledge, I FINALLY UNDERSTAND how to mix desired colors!!! Concise, to the point but extensive information given! Of course I subscribed! THANK YOU FOR SHARING- and free!
Ответитьas soon as he put the blue purple into the yellow orange to match the peanut butter,,, my jaw dropped lmao it was like magic
Ответитьpink is not light red. If you take red, like a spectral red, a firetruck red, red that has no blue content, red that doesn’t reflect any short wave lengths like a cadmium red, if you lighten it, what you get comes off a little more orangey, and I would call it Salmon, but I wouldn’t call it pink. But what I would call pink is, yeah it’s gonna be brighter than Red, but not necessarily less saturated. It doesn’t necessarily mean white plus red. Pink to me means, red, plus blue, plus brightness. If you want to do a Hough circle you can put pink next to red things like rose ,cerise, magenta. These are pinks, right? They are reds with some blue content. Often they are brighter than red, but not all the time. You can have a dark, saturated jewel tone, type magenta, and some people might still call it pink. Let’s think of this also in terms of RGB. On the screen you’ve got three different sub pixels a red, green, and blue, sub pixel. If you crank up only the red you’ve got red. if you want to lighten it you got to add blue and green, right? And bring kind of like the baseline of light all the way up across the board if you start with your red cranked all the way up and then only crank up blue, that’s where you start to shift into pinks and magentas. so here’s how I think of it, you are increasing the brightness, but not because you’re adding white, because you’re adding blue.
ОтветитьI tried to do what was supposed to be a beginning acrylic class. There was very little instruction on color mixing! Very frustrating to play pic a color! Ty we can all use a color wheel refresher 💕
ОтветитьIncredible. Thank you SO very much for making this video.
ОтветитьWow, great video! Color theory is absolutely fascinating ❤
ОтветитьThat was very useful lesson thank you for sharing !
ОтветитьThis instruction is pure genius! I’m not unfamiliar with color theory but your explanation and clarity is excellent.
ОтветитьBy far the best video I have seen on color theory. I have watched A LOT of videos and this was the perfect break down! Thank you
ОтветитьHis voice is about as calming as Bob Ross
ОтветитьNice video how long will the paint stay fresh on your palate cheers Graham
Ответитьthis is an outstanding lesson
ОтветитьI love this explanation of the visual observation an artist might question to depict their color palate
ОтветитьHow do you keep your palette usable? Meaning, how do you keep the paint from drying out?? acrylic dries so fast (I live in Colorado and its always dry here)
ОтветитьCan we use a lower costing paint to learn with? I hope so. I hate to use my best ones, I sure can't afford to buy more !❤
ОтветитьWhy does the purple looks like purple, I wonder..!!
Ответитьur killing me with these autumn paintings coz each one is more beautiful than the other...i love all three that u painted recently
ОтветитьThank you sir
ОтветитьGreat process to learn color mixing, for small works. It would be interesting to learn a process for large paintings, where the waste of paint can be tremendous.
ОтветитьBasics, had to play at 2x speed. But very informative and useful for new students..
ОтветитьKyle, IMO, you're a remarkable and effective teacher. Of the many videos I've watched on you tube, you have a pace, tenor, and focus that lends itself well to my beginner artist mind.
Thankyou for sharing 😊
Wonderful!!
ОтветитьI am 69 years old and have only been painting a couple of years and this video has explained so much. You are a patient and knowledgeable teacher. Thanks so much for sharing. I will finally be able to make my own color wheel. All of the comments were also helpful.
ОтветитьNo way I can squeeze that much paint out of a tube that small. That's why I pretty much quit painting. All the waste, and the expense. I miss it, but the arrogance of it all bothered me.
ОтветитьYurple, borange, gred- that’s how I remember opposite colours 😂
ОтветитьEveryone in the comments is smoking crack…
ОтветитьThis is the best explanation that I found. when I staart painting, I went to a professional artist. he was excelent but your explanation is the best for someone that is just beginning. specially if if not an artist. It took me a long time to grasp this theory. BRAVO
ОтветитьJust wonderfully done, very sophisticated demo but u made it look simple although I know it's not. Love your demeanor and style of teaching. Thank you.
ОтветитьThank you sooo much!! Awesome demo!! Learned a lot!!
ОтветитьThank you for your teaching! I understand a little more about color
Ответитьthanks
ОтветитьA thousand applause man
ОтветитьWhat an excellent video. I’ve really learned a lot. Thank you
ОтветитьSo i was hoping to find info on what you said from 48 min on in your video. And im so glad you covered all of that its exactly what i was looking for with a project im trying to work on currently. So thank you so much. Now that being said the entire video was excellent as well. This was awesome and im extremely grateful to find this. Thank you so much for taking the time to make this and post it here. The video was exceptional and its almost like listening to Bob Ross lol. Thank you so much!
ОтветитьToo much informal fluff, not enough scientific for my taste. :(
ОтветитьI learned SO MUCH from this video! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is one of the best colour mixing videos I have seen, and boy have I see ALOT! Thank you!!
ОтветитьThe best video about mixing colours I have ever seen. Thank ,you so much😊
ОтветитьAmazing video! Thank you so much :)
