Whoever asked about bioethics didn’t see Jurassic Park where dr.Malcom goes “you were so invested in can we, you never thought should we.”
ОтветитьDid anyone else think that he sounded like Harlan Elison as AM, but like... the opposite? Like, if AM was nice.
Ответить10 seconds in and I already love this guy
Ответитьbananas!😎
ОтветитьThis man is happy to be alive - just full of wonder
Need this
Blue eyes, as with white skin is an evolution that happened to adapt to environment with less sun.
That is in fact why people living in thoose areas have white skin and blue eyes.
Love the raspy end to each sentence haha
Ответитьinflammatory thumbnail, downvote
ОтветитьApparently, some dinosaurs evolved into birds way before the asteroid
ОтветитьHe kinda looks like rob Lowe……..
ОтветитьWe know what that is and it ain’t a coconut definitely sum type of nut involved tho
ОтветитьThe evolutionary advantage of blue eyes is the fact that they're often considered attractive.
Ответитьnono, I am here for the blue eye question, I can only assume, the advantage of blue eyes are people back then thought (and rightly so) blue eyes are attractive af, but the question was how does it happen, like the first person popped out with blue eyes? why did the first person have blue eyes? if blue eyes were a mistake, why are there no other random colours?
Ответитьthank you, I loved this!!❤❤❤
ОтветитьMan came prepared
ОтветитьIve been on a 3hr deep dive of WIRED support videos and nothing tickles me more than when these specialists read profanity with enthusiastic enunciation 🤣
ОтветитьEvolution gives me hope that one day humans wont be this stupid
ОтветитьLove how he described the Achaeopteryx exactly like a cat
ОтветитьWhat's "weird" about blue eyes?????
ОтветитьI do not now this person's academic credentials. Most entertaining. Regarding blue eyes, got caught up in an argument with my spouse. Who tried to convince me blue or hazel eye color was dominant gene; blond/light color hair was also dominant gene. (That man is no longer my husband. Thought I would provide a bit of a giggle to others.)
ОтветитьFun ji. 😂 🤦♂️
ОтветитьDo Americans typically say “Shpeshies” like that? For species. I never realised and I’ve lived here for 10 years
ОтветитьI love the fact that we evolved to see experts comment their knowledge field on internet, compared to 60y ago when people used to ask their priest for advice/knowledge
ОтветитьThis man is a joy!
ОтветитьI wish more people were like this. Instead of most of the people that make the news these days…
ОтветитьBunch of blue eye haters around here 😂
Ответить👍🌟👍
ОтветитьIt's ironic how this guy reminds me so much of my high school biology/horticulture teacher; his mannerisms and speaking style. Which I miss these subjects because of how intricately complex life is.
Ответитьbring this guy back!!
ОтветитьFabulous presentation! I couldn't stop thinking, "This is George McFly had he chosen a different career path." And I mean that with every compliment. 🤓
ОтветитьClient: we need a biologist character
Bethesda:
This was one of the most interesting ____Support episodes yet!
ОтветитьNot all adaptations need a survival function to proliferate. Blue eyes are likely just more attractive, so the people with those genes reproduced more often.
ОтветитьImma need... One of those... Coconut seeds...
ОтветитьIt is so wonderful to listen to the talks of all those experts in their fields.
ОтветитьA virus is very much like a flash drive.
ОтветитьCool uncle vibes
Ответить"What does it mean to be alive?"
As a chemist, I'd say that "Life" is a series of ongoing chemical (or biochemical, if you must) reactions. When those reactions stop, you die. No mystery, no magic and no miracles.
I love this man
ОтветитьThat deer part is my new learning that they don’t have upper teeth and what they bite is a rough cut
ОтветитьHear me out…close your eyes…don’t you hear Kasey Kasem?
ОтветитьThis is who we all would love to have as a teacher/tutor/professor - his enthusiasm is infectious and encouraging 😊
ОтветитьNope.... I have NO IDEA what the evolutionary advantage of blue eyes could possibly be. 🤷🏿♂️
Ответитьlook like dafoe
Ответитьhe should’ve said how do blue eyes make their colour. That would’ve been interesting.
