SHOULD WE REALLY KEEP THE 613 LAWS? UNDERSTANDING THE TORAH (PT. 1)

The Holy Spirit is also the law because they are His word. When we are led by the Spirit we are naturally walking obedient to the law.
Now because the same whole law is summed up in LOVE which is also the law we move differently
because in THIS LOVE we pray for our enemies, we give to our enemies (as led), we not only not touch a woman or man/ we don't have thoughts, the love part is more of a heart thing vs law was the works.

I have been working on this! Yes, our Abba Yah loves us and protects us and most certainly wants the best from us. But it is time to start giving Yahuah the obedience He deserves. YAHUSHA did not only come to die for us to be redeem but to show us how to Love our Abba, our YAHUAH! We give Satan a good laugh when we say we love Yah and do not keep His laws and commands. This is important! Please, let's all give Yahuah want He deserves for He is worthy, He is VERY wonderful ,beautiful, kind, forgiving and most importantly deservesthe Love He wants from us. Let us, His called children, not continue to disrespect Him! Just as He fulfills His promises to us, we must fulfill all He requires from His children. In Yahusha Holy Name!

So, new moon day is the sighting of the new moon, into the next day ( even to even). That is day one of the MONTH
New moon day the temple would be open its a feast day
You then after that day count the 6 days of work and on the 7th day ( always lands on the 8th day of the month ) is the sabbath then you count 6 days again after the sabbath until the next new moon. It will be a different day from previous month.

How can I reason to those people telling about the image in tabernacle and a pole made by Moses.?

The United States had over 88k federal laws created since 1995. This does not include state and city laws. We are expected to follow these laws, and we don't debate it, but 613 laws is too much?

The following of Yahs law most certainly will NOT bring Regeneration of spirit ie New Birth,ie Justification, but it IS necessary for one’s sanctification of soul. It isn’t the spirit that is “saved” but rather the soul.

When we put our faith in Jesus, God gives us a new heart that makes us capable of keeping His Royal Commandments of Love.

What is the purpose of the Mosaic Law?

The Mosaic Law was given specifically to the nation of Israel (Exodus 19; Leviticus 26:46; Romans 9:4). It was made up of three parts: the Ten Commandments, the ordinances, and the worship system, which included the priesthood, the tabernacle, the offerings, and the festivals (Exodus 20—40; Leviticus 1—7; 23). The purpose of the Mosaic Law was to accomplish the following:

(1) Reveal the holy character of the eternal God to the nation of Israel (Leviticus 19:2; 20:7–8).

(2) Set apart the nation of Israel as distinct from all the other nations (Exodus 19:5).

(3) Reveal the sinfulness of man (cf. Galatians 3:19). Although the Law was good and holy (Romans 7:12), it did not provide salvation for the nation of Israel. “No one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin” (Romans 3:20; cf. Acts 13:38–39).

(4) Provide forgiveness through the sacrifice/offerings (Leviticus 1—7) for the people who had faith in the Lord in the nation of Israel.

(5) Provide a way of worship for the community of faith through the yearly feasts (Leviticus 23).

(6) Provide God’s direction for the physical and spiritual health of the nation (Exodus 21—23; Deuteronomy 6:4–19; Psalm 119:97–104).

(7) Reveal to humanity that no one can keep the Law but everyone falls short of God’s standard of holiness. That realization causes us to rely on God’s mercy and grace. When Christ came, He fulfilled the Law and with His death paid the penalty for our breaking it (Galatians 3:24; Romans 10:4). By faith in Him, the believer has the very righteousness of Christ imputed to him.

The purpose of the Mosaic Law raises these questions: “Are you trusting in yourself to keep all the Ten Commandments all the time (which you can’t do)?” OR “Have you made the choice to accept Jesus as your Savior, realizing that He has fulfilled all the commandments all the time for you, even paying your penalty for breaking them?” The choice is yours.

The Torah is beautiful, Yahusha said those of you who are heavy laden come unto me for rest.. He is the Word of Elohiym therefore he says clearly go to him for rest follow the Torah because their is no burden in His Word and His Laws. To love the Torah and the messages sent through the Prophets.. reading the Renewed Covenant makes all the more sense.

This is exactly right brother! HalleluYah! Many say that the law is done away with, but it is not. It is FULFILLED, not abolished. The law is written on our hearts when we receive the ruach ha' kodesh.

Conventness...what comes to mind to me is my culture and how we play the lottery and or scratch offs. Alot of our people make it their lifestyle or purpose to get rich quickly. I understand why YAH doesn't bless that behavior as a whole as it would drive us deeper into sin.
