After having watched this video, I think that today we are living in a society that is addicted to social media, and that if we want to stop using them, we might make it little by little with meaningful exercises such as gradually leaving the phone on a part where we can forget it for a few minutes and then over time for a long time without needing it.
On the other hand, we could get our skills triggered with other activities that can benefit us both in emotional and monetary well-being in a short time, thereby being an uplifting example for others.

Social media can be a useful tool for connecting with the outside world, but it also has many negative effects. Social media can have negative impacts on productivity, if people allow it, and excessive use of social media can make people addicted to it because it activates the brain's reward system to release dopamine.
On the other hand, some people share their best lives on social media, so they sometimes compare their normal lives with other's exciting lives, which could get families to create destructive comparisons. Besides, a direct talking might have family members feel closer rather than communicate with each other online or on social media.

I must honestly say that after the pandemic I felt that I need to disconnect from social media and my cell phone for my own mental health, since I had reached the point of feeling the vibration of my cell phone on my body.
We live in a world where instant information is causing us a lot of anxiety and emotional instability.
In my case, I have reduced the use of networks to a minimum. I don't even have Facebook on my cell phone and I don't download applications for everything. I live real life. I have to use social networks responsibly since I have a family and I want my children to be responsible. also.

I really  would love quit my cell phone not just for 30 days, at the moment I can't, but I will.

Quitting social media sounds bold and endlightened. It can be a major distraction pulling our attention away from the present. In adittion I am the first to say that it is tremendously difficult to quit because I habitually post a photo in facebook and it trigger a lot of comments but it encourages superficial relationship too. On the other hand i use Linkedln to keep in touch with other professionals and it is necesary for my job too. i can dominate my feed, social media is a good tool. According to the video majority people spend more time online and quitting social media depends of eachone cause for some people, particulary those strunggling with addictive behaviours and other just for taking a break is good to make a puse and recharge and have a mental health.

Quitting social media could have numerous benefits, including increased productivity, more time for hobbies and exercise, and a greater sense of satisfaction from your accomplishments. This could be especially meaningful for individuals who struggle with self-esteem issues or feel isolated from their peers due to excessive social media use. Prioritizing productivity and personal development over social media could make people feel uplifted and satisfied, regardless of their social media presence. Those who avoid the potential backlash and isolation that can come with excessive social media use may have a better chance of achieving their goals and living a fulfilling life. This approach could also help people shy away from the negative impacts of social media and focus on more positive activities.

This video was very interesting because nowadays it's really difficult people can desconecte to the social medias suchs us Instagram, whastsapp, facebook or telegram but this viedeo show that althought it was hard in the begginig while the time was passing, theperson who did the challenge he can achieve. After the 30 days I think that he could desconecte and he apreciated this time because he could do other things.

In my personal opinion I consider that the social medias and divices have changed the people life because ella the time they live in other reallity have consumed the real life and it don't allow to enjoy the beautiful around the world for instance the adolecents use thier cellphones all the time and they are so worried for the likes or comments that other people show for thier pfotos or post and they forget that the most imortant is what happen with their classmates, relatives or people that live around them. Also I consider that theteenagers need to the supervision to their parents and that they show that the social medias if they don't use with responsability and privacity they will be able to be dangerous.

Compulsive social media checking can have several negative effects on the brain and overall well-being. Anxiety and depression are the most common symptoms that cause the isolated and constant exposure to idealized images of others' lives can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem besides get the backlashes in the comments from other users that they could be people or bots.
By in the other hand is the stress. The pressure to maintain a certain image or receive validation through likes and comments can be stressful.
In fact, the use of the social media is unavoidable, because it might let us write to interact with others not only inside of our family but with people from other countries. Social networks cross barriers allowing immediate communication.

After watching the video about quitting social media for 30 days, I realized how much it can impact one's productivity and focus. Stepping away from social media could help reduce the constant comparisons we make with others and decrease the time wasted on browsing through endless feeds. Without these distractions, we might become more present in our daily activities, allowing us to achieve more meaningful and focused work.

The experiment also highlighted how deeply rooted social media habits are in our routines. It made me think about how much time I spend on my phone and whether it’s truly beneficial. By reducing or eliminating social media use, we could potentially find more time for personal growth, hobbies, and real-life interactions. This change might lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life, free from the pressures and distractions of online interactions.

Quitting the social media, you have power of self-control and could spend your time interacting with people or relatives in order to be relaxed and less worried. Regards, Jackie

This video catches my attention because nowadays, we all use social networks for different reasons such as: researching, communicating with family or other people, listening to music, watching videos, playing games, shopping online, etc. I do everything using social networks, I would like to stop using them during my vacations, to disconnect from everything and spend quality time with my children. I think it will be a big challenge for me but I want to try.
I realize that if I don't use social media, I will have more time to talk to my kids, read, go out with my friends to have coffee, go dancing, go for a walk, and that way I can live my real life without thinking every moment who is sending me messages, I have to like what I like or be sad because I missed some information. I think we should do a campaign first in our homes with our children motivating them to stop using social media for short periods of time so that they understand that the excessive use of these media can cause anxiety, addiction, waste of time, loss of privacy and harassment.

Because we could recover the essence that united families many years before, such as family and social connection, we had never before lost our own effort. to cultivate values and principles in our children. Because now where they learn from is social media and a job well done with our own effort and skills is our greatest satisfaction

I QUIT SOCIAL MEDIA FOR 30 DAYS
I think this video was very interesting because every day we waste time using social networks, in my case I am addicted to them, I don’t know what will happen to my life if I don’t have my phone. I watch a lot of videos on Facebook and waste my important time, however, if I had a change to quit social media for 30 days, I would like to share this beautiful moment with my friends and family and try to share the best moment of our life.
At the beginning it will not be easy to quit it because in our jobs we use it to communicate with others, especially students, parents, authorities and more people who write to me but, we must leave it because our lives are going to be in serious trouble in the future.

First of all, what caught my attention was the term “Detox”, which means “Detoxification”. Social media can cause a tremendously impact in all field of our lives, but it depends of us how to use them. Nowadays, a lot of us have been dependent and don’t realize what happens around of us, risking our lives not only familiar but also our work life. We should detox from social media to improve our health and look for the personal development.

According to Matt's video, it was a challenge to stop using technology for many days. In addition, he deleted his applications to spend more time enjoying his family and be more productive at work.

I think that Matt D'Avella's video was an experiment to see if it helped him make his decision to separate himself from social networks, the video really has the importance of self-reflection for a mental detox on social networks and getting away from the digital world. It is a recommendation for us to evaluate our own life with social networks and establish a limit to prevent social networks from having so much power in people's lives.
We should not depend on the virtual world and entertainment. This You Tube is for groups of people who want to stop being addicted to social networks.
This video offers nice information for a society for a change due to the impulse of social networks.
I would do the same as Matt, not using social media for two days. I could do other activities such as learning culinary art, doing gymnastics, reading interesting books, it would be less stressful, I would also dedicate myself to the goals that I set for myself.
We must be aware of social networks and know how to use technology to improve our means of communication.

Nowadays social media is controlled the most of our free time the reason why is because our phone makes us to feel connecte with the friends, relatives in general with the world, and reduce the alone sensation, on the other hand this is a big distractor of the dialy activities, as studies, work, family and friends.
For these reason this experimet seens really cool, and we have to imitate or try to reduce the use of social media, and focus in our priorities such as studies and family, because sometime we say that don´t have time to share in face to face meetings but we have to imagine and calculate the time that we spend in front of the cellphone or computer, it is time to think in it really important the content that I am sharing , or we are watching. what are the real benefits that we are getting of social media? and then reflect if this time we can inves in improve or personal, familiary relationships or focus in our studies.

This video clearly shows us how people have changed since social media appeared. Although it is a fast means of communication we find ways to offer ventures and businesses. Human beings have let our attention be carried away by devices and we live a consumerist, superficial, and not real life. While this happens in real life with our children or family in general we ignore it since we are worried about who writes to us, and how many reactions what we publish has. This video invites us to become aware that it is time to educate our lives on social networks and social media in general, limiting time and respecting digital rights.
