How can I get better at the retention part? I have such a hard time not breathing, my body fights me, and I lose everytime! I want to be able to hold longer than 15-20 seconds, but that’s all I’ve got right now! Any tips?

ОтветитьWhen I first tried this I could only get to 30 seconds. I would dread doing it daily as it felt like I was suffocating but it also left me feeling so calm and relaxed which felt like a feeling I had not experienced.
2 weeks on I now do this twice a day and after every long breath hold in I get a huge light headed high feeling , I'm up to 1.30 holds on your other video .... There are days I do this and It makes me cry my eyes out... I'm not sure why .. Like the gym this is now becoming my therapy . Thank you 🙏

ОтветитьI have a question, if our noses are kind of stuffy and it's challenging to breathe through our nose, or we're unable to effectively breathe through our nose at this time and we are in need of a reset and calming our nervous system. Would it still be effective if we were to alternatively breathe through our mouth within this practice? Would it have the same kind of beneficial effects, or would you recommend doing a different type of breath work to help reset and ease the nervous system in this scenario?

ОтветитьSandy I tried this out after a high intensity workout, it worked miracles🤯🤯 only heads up to all, dont push to hard on that spinal fluid, i became very lightheaded so stay layed down if doing after workout.
