ОтветитьFirst video I've watched of yours and it's a nightmare , too quick skipping through the ingredients/weights. Not reference the weights again when going through the procedure. Awful video to cook through god knows how youre this popular.

ОтветитьPancake 🥞 Day is on a Shrove Tuesday where a day later is Ash Wednesday. Enjoy 😊 eating 🍽 the pancakes 🥞🥞🥞🥞🥞 containing sugar, lemon 🍋, golden syrup and finally chocolate 🍫 spread. I love 💕 pancakes 🥞. Nice 👌 taste 👅. Both days Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday per year in February or March are treated as a normal days so they are not public holidays. Please 🙏 enjoy 😊 eating 🍽 the pancakes 🥞🥞🥞🥞 and get on with it. 😃 ❤️ 💜 💛 💙 🧡 💖 💟
ОтветитьThank you for sharing your recipe your pancakes looks like crepes
ОтветитьThis is abit of a bad recipe, no offence. But you shouldn’t put butter or oil into a British pancake recipe, that will make them cakey like American Pancakes and not crepey like European pancakes. If you are going to melt butter in you should be adding as much water to prevent the butter from binding and forming a cakey structure. The water will make them stretchy and elasticky. Trust me.
If you aren’t adding melted butter or oil to the mix, still add as much water as milk, it is honestly the key that everyone misses out.
But yeah this is how I used to make pancakes before I evolved. ;)
X
So much better than the yank pancakes, obviously made thicker to satisfy the greedy slob American appetite.
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьYour pancakes look like tortillas.
ОтветитьIf it’s not thin enough to wrap around a Beef Wellington (like these) then it’s not a crepe.
ОтветитьI have to catch more of these British videos.
Had no idea we were so different.
I have pancakes multiple days a week all year and do a thicker style.
I'm going to do yours too simply because spreading them out they take up the whole plate. I usually use peanut butter and syrup, sometimes butter and syrup
Bro it keeps sticking to the pan
ОтветитьI tried it so easy thanks your the best
Ответитьhow many people does this pancake batter serve @BarryLewis
Ответитьhonestly, i love this, i’m so happy that people make tutorials like these, my sister never wants to cook pancakes with me, but it used to be her favourite thing to do. only she knows the recipe off by heart, so i use this every time i’m stuck. :)
Ответитьhow many pancakes will this make?? :)
ОтветитьThis is very helpful
ОтветитьMmmm with some lemon and a bit of white sugar... perfect
Ответитьback again (i forgor)
ОтветитьOver here American style ones look a whole lot different
ОтветитьAnyone else watched this and thought 💭
“Thought this would have been even easier…genuinely can’t be arsed now!”
Can anyone explain why you should add eggs to flour then milk to the paste?
I always mix eggs and milk then spoon in flour until I get the consistency I want
No perfect recipe mate. Winner everytime. We live in Brazil so it's not always easy to find lemons so we use lime. Try pacakes with lime, they have a stronger taste than lemon and are a delicious alternative.
ОтветитьCompletely fucked up
Ответитьam i the only one that can't cook properly unless im being supervised😭
ОтветитьDidn’t work
ОтветитьNice video, but the music was a bit irritating when playing over and over again, sorry x
ОтветитьWhy no one shows Putting Cheesy on the Pancakes its amazing>?
Ответитьbanging tunes
Ответитьlol it looks like a crape, it's too thin to be a pancake, and butter between each pancake then top it with maple syrup yummy
ОтветитьWho else up in they kitchen at 4am making pancakes
ОтветитьI always had these with corn beef hash (a stew with potatoes, swedes, carrots, onions, and tinned corn beef). It's a full meal then, and absolutely delicious.
If you're lazy, drown it in (bisto) gravy.
What a load of rubish
ОтветитьLEMON?!
ОтветитьApsolutely amazing! I loved them
Ответитьless flour and less milk
more sugar (for the sweetness obviously)
and you should be good to go (for the people who are still experiencing)
Here is how the pancakes are done: (You can then afterwards messure it with some average recipes. Unless you already know them yourself)
Milk and Flour. You will need 10-30% more of Milk.
Flour = Bigger pancakes, Milk = "Flatter" pancakes. (+ Lessens the effect of the eggs and the flour)
Eggs and Butter. (Depends on how you want it)
Eggs = More sticky (they will be easier to flip), Butter = More swift (Will slide around easie- *IT SHOULD BE OBVIOUS*)
Salt and Sugar. You will need 100-180% More Sugar.
Sugar = More sweetness, Salt = Feels more Crispy (And obviously a stronger taste)
Optionals:
Cheese = More stick + Cheddar taste. (Should be obvious)
Powdered Sugar = Easier sweetness to deal with. (Replacing 10% of flour and 50% of sugar. Lessens the effect of Salt.)
If any of this is wrong, I am sorry... This has always helped me make pancakes the exact way I wanted. Should be understandable.
thank u came out great i recommend this
ОтветитьUsed your recipe this evening and made the best pancakes ever made in this house - according to my second gannet (Oliver). I concur! Thanks for the no-nonsense video with catchy tune!
