ОтветитьThank you for the video we are in a major renovation project just like this.
ОтветитьDo you have to rip the linoleum out?
ОтветитьGreat video. What are the floor vents for?
ОтветитьI do this sort of thing for a living, and you guys did SOOOOOOOO many things well on your project. You even nailed the radius around the shower and toilet! Thumbs up from me! :)
ОтветитьHello, I compliment you on looking at various options to the flooring such as laying down a plank of plywood and so on... Great details you spoke of. I wasn't aware of such a flooring such as stick and glue as you used. All the best!
ОтветитьGreat work, and tips
ОтветитьSo after 4 years do you still like the floor. Does it last good.
ОтветитьI've been wanting new flooring but unsure of how to do it, Thanks!
ОтветитьI was a contractor for years and removed a lot of carpet and staples, best tool I ever found to use were end nippers, you can grip and roll the staples out, also great for pulling small nails
ОтветитьLooks so much better! How is it holding up? I was thinking just put a thick piece felt with lots of glue over the screw. Please let me know what you eventually did. In the market for a fixer RV so can't wait. I'm getting as much knowledge as i can. Thank you
ОтветитьThis was one the most well narrated how to videos. Thank you♡
ОтветитьQuestion, what kind of wood flooring is underneath the original carpet? and why wouldn't someone just stain that wood to get the wood flooring effect?
ОтветитьThank, you for you're video
ОтветитьHow come you didn’t just put throw rugs where the slides were scraping the floor so it could just slide on that
ОтветитьGood job! Slide ski's might be an option for protecting anyone's floor...who is facing this issue.
ОтветитьI'll hire you to do mine. 28 ft 5th wheel. Single 6 ft slide, not floor flush. I'm intimidated to do even that.
ОтветитьWhy on earth they use carpets in rvs is beyond me.
ОтветитьHello. Looks great. Question. Do you remember the make and model number of the flooring you used? Also, I understand Vinyl plank waterproof etc but did you folks consider a high end Laminate? I'm about to purchase the laminate but your video is making me think twice. Thank you
Ответитьgood Morning. How is the floor working out. Good Bad or what. Jack PS would you do it again.
ОтветитьYou did a fantastic job
ОтветитьUnfortunately after time it will start to cave in. Just like an A/C register.
ОтветитьThe way he said "yuck" he would have been so disgusted seeing what was under our RV carpet. Water damage and rotten wood. Ours is a 2006 though. Lol
ОтветитьToo much talking not enough doing
Ответитьwhat page/website/ social media do you recommend for new RV owners?
ОтветитьDoes your furniture slide around on travel days now that you don’t have carpet?
ОтветитьNice job katlyn looks great. We have a DRV and this is our next project
ОтветитьHi! When you push your slide back in, has it scratched your floors?
Ответитьawesome video. I'm planning on doing the same to my new 15 year old trailer and this was so helpful. Extremely well done.
ОтветитьHow are the floors now?
ОтветитьWhat about putting a felt disk on the screwhead, just as you eould on chairlegs?
ОтветитьGood lord you're gorgeous
ОтветитьYou get rid of the lip with a belt sander
ОтветитьI love the dog. I wish I could sleep like that!
ОтветитьLove the floor, and tips. Great job
Ответитьdone so wrong. You have to support that. Cant tiptoe around a spot like that.
Ответитьon your corner piece use double side tape to hold it against your trim and not let it loose
Ответить❤❤❤ I just wanted to say thank you to you both. Quite honestly your videos have given me the confidence to take care of some of the things I had to do. I went ahead and got the composting toilet installed myself. Thanks to you I was able to do that. I was also able to fix my gray water tank- that scared me horrendously. Now I'm officially scared because I have to reframe my rear wall. I'm going to try and Salvage my floor. But it looks like it might have to come out. I did contact a leading technician from Thompson's RV and they told me that it's time to consider a new floor. So I'm watching your video and I'm biting my fingernails because I'm scared to do this, but I am going to attempt this. I just want to say thank you once again because your videos are giving me the confidence to make it through this and not pay millions of dollars on an older RV
ОтветитьOmg soooooooo many staples
ОтветитьYou guys crushed it.. professional result.
ОтветитьThank you 😊
ОтветитьI have always enjoyed your videos. So well done. I realize this is an old video but we are getting ready to tackle our floors. How has yours held up? So happy with that product?
