Ran is my favorite.
Ответитьii love you
ОтветитьAkahige (Red Beard/Barberousse) should be at the top of the list and Dodeskaden at least in the honorable mention, but well, "de gustibus et coloribus non est disputandum"...
ОтветитьWhy does your voice sound so stupid and detached? You sound like a tour guide taking kids on a field trip. You ruin everything and and the mood with that bubbly voice.
ОтветитьDreams not even being in the honorable mentions is actually criminal
ОтветитьMy favourite Akira Kurosawa´s top 10 are:
1.Dersu Uzala
2.Yume
3.Yojimbo
4.Throne Of Blood
5.Sanjuro
6.The 7 Samurai
7.Rashomon
8.The Hidden Fortress
9.Ran
10.The Lower Dephts
The scene from Rashomon that this video opens with is easily none of my favorite scenes from any movie I've watched
ОтветитьI watched seven samurai when I was like 14 for the first time and was blown away by it. I’ve seen it many time since it truly is an incredible film. Puts modern movies to shame in my opinion it just show what true movie making talent looks like.
ОтветитьUntil "Dreams", it seems that every worth Japanese speaks like a North Korean speakrin. It must be full of sense !
ОтветитьNo harakiri???
ОтветитьIkiru, Yojimbo and Sanjuro should be in this list and high up
ОтветитьRashmon
ОтветитьSeven Samurai was a shock to me and I can never forget this movie. I tried and watched other Kurosawa movies but... nothing compares to 7S
Ответитьtinha diretor.
ОтветитьThe takeaway is that he can steal ideas from others, but if you steal his ideas and make them better is wrong.
ОтветитьWhen you think of samurái movies. This is the name ❤
ОтветитьI think he had a movie called A-K's Dreams. I liked that one
ОтветитьRed beard, samurai thrilogy, Zatoichi. So I add 3 bonuses :)
Kurosawa was Genius ☝️
I am so sorry he has gone, he knew more about humans than any other director.
Ответить😊i could do without American voice intepretation..
ОтветитьThe name/title pronunciation of the narator is catastrofic
ОтветитьHe is undoubtedly the king of Asia.
ОтветитьOne of the greatest directors ever. NOT the greatest Japanese or Asian directors, but greatest across the whole damn planet. As this video has already stated he was a master at blending the mystical and intense nature of Japanese history and culture with classical Western theater. His take on King Lear in the movie Ran is absolutely ingenious.
ОтветитьI have half these movies and never tire of watching them.
ОтветитьLegend! Akiro Kurasova... ഈ സിനിമകളൊക്കെ എത്ര തവണ കണ്ടെന്ന് ഒരു നിശ്ചയവും ഇല്ലാ...!
ОтветитьI have Ran on Blu-ray
ОтветитьSamurai films are good it needs go on cinema in UK 🇬🇧 it need more on British T.V so world knows?
ОтветитьI just find it shocking that they were able to only come up with 10
ОтветитьDersu Uzala is his best by a long stretch.
ОтветитьMy favorite
ОтветитьWhere is Dreams?!
ОтветитьYojimbo has to be his best in my opinion
Ответить7 Samurai has to be the best movie iv watched, possibly ever.
ОтветитьI still believe Ran is one of the most visually stunning films I have ever seen. Fantastic film!
ОтветитьFor me.
DONZOKO.
DERSU UZALA.
" The Seven Samurai " my number 1 movie ,and i been seen movies for over 60 years .
ОтветитьI'm glad to see "Red Beard" mentioned. It's one of my favorites.
Ответитьnever ask foolishness of favourite, human beings are bundle of various emotions feelings which find response to stimuli being offloaded on their sensory life as in audio visual, and then whicever emotion of that time is dominate human psyche responds to that first, thus so called favourite always is going through changes and phases also of maturity. but yes, master creators in any field always find response because of the mastery in their craft , quality, and depth of understanding in their creation and Akira kurusawa is one of them.
ОтветитьUnforgivable, Dersu Uzala didn't make the top 10?! SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!
ОтветитьWithout any doubt, number one. Dodeskaden. Not just number one kurosawa but number one best of all films ever, yet.
Ответитьmy top 10 list :-
1. Seven Samurai
2. Red Beard
3. Stray Dog
4. Yojimbo
5. Throne of Blood
6. Rashomon
7. Ikiru
8. Kagermusha
9. High & Low
10. Ran
My Favorites, #1.The Seven Samurai.#2. Ran
#3. Hidden Fortress.
#4. Jojimbo. #5. Sanjuro.
i Like That in Kurosawa's
Favorites 100 Movies Of All Times, Don't included
Orson Wells's Famous a Movie 👉🏽 Citizen Kane.
and Some Critics When
Over Kurosawa, and i Agree With Kurosawa. Personaly i Think They Overhype The Movie, And
Making Wells Like a Young Genius, That Produce, Directed, Wrote
the Screenplay, and Acting in His Movie... With Only 24 That Was a Big
Achievement in Those Days.Late 1930's. They Celebrate His Achievement More Than The Movie, But Was The
Movie The Beneficiary Of All The Hype and Sweet Press Before The Opening
Of The Movie... But in Reality, in My Opinión
The Movie is Good, Or We
Can Called GREAT.
BUT iconic Legendary Like
👉🏽 The Godfather, l and ll 👉🏽The Seven Samurai Or The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari
👉🏽 🎬NEVER 🎬 👈🏽
CITIZEN KANE WILL BE
AT THAT LEVEL... ✍🏽
I was mesmerized by 'Ran' when I first watched it. Truly a magnificent film.
ОтветитьIkiru can make me weep from simply thinking about the swing scene. Moving, beautiful, and absolutely perfect.
ОтветитьI wish I could block this channel from showing up on my feed.
Fuck you, Mojo. Your clickbait content sucks.
うじ!
ОтветитьInspired is more like carbon copied many of his films.
ОтветитьI am so down for Yojimbo. Sanjuro Mulberry Field. The original badass.
ОтветитьStar Wars before Star Wars
