Nice explanation for people that are just getting into it. You should try your hand at explaining the salary cap next; gam, tam, and dp. I have tried looking at that and I still don't understand it.

In terms of playoffs I've thought about it and since MLS messes with the playoff structure so much I wish they would go to two seasons a year like some of the other leagues in the hemisphere. Have an Apertura and Clausura season. Then have the winner of those two seasons play each other at the end of the year to determine the champion. Now I know that MLS isn't going to give up that sweet playoff money so rather than have a playoff, after the Apertura and Clausura winner play each other. Host an end of year tournament with all the teams.. They could call it the winter "wrap-up" tournament or something.

But what if one of the three matches end tied? It doesn’t count? Like a team won the first match and drew the second, will they still have to play the third match?

So since intermiami is first in the league cup that mean the first team on the next side on first that is lafc will play intermiami in the playoffs

It's a bit rubbish compared to the top leagues in Europe but hey, it's still better than the Belgian league, and hopefully it eill continue improving in the future.

Basically, similar system as in NBA basketball, NHL hockey, or Major League Baseball
