They have debuted for 3 months at ranking about 400. Defeated top pairs, got 2 super 750 finals, have won 1. Still need to improve a lot of things, especially Wang but they can go very far indeed

MD this year is so exciting with so many new pairs emerging, plus the maturing of some old ones. Still I hope for the return of Watanabe, with a new partner, then it will feel more complete.

It has been a long time, I smell a bit of FU/CAI or Setiawan vibe in this unseeded Chinese pair. They performed much better in SF against Choi/Kim
Although the pair only participated in 5 tournaments, they could beat:
- Aaron/Soh - Alfian/Ardianto - Gideon/Sukamuljo - Hoki/Kobayashi - Daddies
Perhaps it was tiring for the beaten pairs to play straight after WC, but it is a good sign.
If Wang can further refine net plays and perfect the rotation with Liang, and Liang can master smash like FU, mens double matches will be entertaining again, back to the FU/CAI era of crazy speed net plays and bomb smashes~
