I was in "high school" in England when this song was released. At my boarding school, we listened to Radio Caroline-a pop non-BBC "pirate" station (anchored a few miles out beyond the jurisdiction of England. A lot of great tunes came out mid-sixties.

Only me and one other kid were on to Yardbirds. Live Yardbirds was killer.

I miss the 60's & 70's for all the great music and times during my childhood... Todays music sucks.. RIP Jeff always enjoyed listening...

Back in school in the late 70's I was playing a Yardbirds tape I had in the lab and the people thought it was crap.

I frankly do not know, why in another video, a sign reads this song was released the 31th of December 1977, when it was released in 1965, that is 12 years earlier. Somebody goofed it seems.

The studio version of For Your Love was their last single recorded with Eric Clapton, who quit the group as he thought they were becoming too "pop". This performance must have been shortly after Jeff Beck joined the group. RIP Jeff, you were one of the best.
