The only guitar I ever regretted buying was the Chapman ML-1 Pro, a few years back. A pity, but sh*t happens.

I'm glad there's a big name guitar brand out there which employs Indian luthiere and openly talks about it. The company Chapman is referring to is most likely HMI, or Harmony Musical Instruments in Chennai, India. Trev Wilkinson sold T-style vintage spec kit guitars made there and they previously did work for Fender & Jackson. It's a pity that Indians can't buy guitars from HMI. They're export only and extremely media shy. The last time they sold Indian guitars to Indians was in the early 2000s, under their in-house Tansen brand. By the time I'd saved up enough money for one, they were gone from the market!

I have an ML1 Modern in dark red blood finish, its a great guitar, nothing else quite like it, black hardware, maple top, love it

Chapman has some fine guitars. What a great success story. I’ve been following Rob since the Andertons days and it’s just so awesome to see someone have a dream and through hard work, determination and perseverance, make it come true. Congratulations on a great looking 2024 lineup!
