As a Viet Nam vet, this is surreal to me.

I spent 10 years travelling around 5 continents, and can honestly say it was amazing...but watching them huddle in front of a fan outside, made me thankful those days are over 😂 Obviously you can travel at any age, but if you are young, I urge you to do it! Most of the people I graduated university with 12 years ago rushed into the rat race and marriage, and now many of them have retrained in other careers and I am no worse off than they are. The race is only with yourself. I would not trade trekking the Sahara, sleeping in the Amazon, living in Tunisia, food tours in Singapore, and any other adventures I had for any position or amount of money. Get out there kiddos! 😍

Older people are always better, kinder, and more genuine. I am from Portugal, and we have millions of tourists. We treat them well, and they love it there. Older people, grandmas and grandpas will welcome you and feed you delicious food until you burst. :)

In Africa an elderly lady was selling pineapple and doing her best to keep the flies away...i wanted to help her so i gave her the equivalent of $40 in Naira and only asked for one pineapple. She didn't understand i was tipping her and thought i forgot my change as she yell and began to follow me...when she realized i meant to give her extra she cried and praise God as if i had given her millions....Best $40 i ever spent
