Great News. We can now restart EU exports of Shellfish and Salmon for the first time post Brexit. The only change for fishing is ageeing quotas for 12 years rather than yearly (which improves long term certainty for all). The SPS agreement means we no longer need a £200 vet certificate per meat lorry export. When it comes to fresh food we avoid the long queues for EU checks which often resulted in food going off. We can now export saussages to the EU for the first time post Brexit. EU is our nearest and biggest market so makes no sense to make exporting to easier without rejoining. This is a great deal to remove the painful rough edges left by Brexit without rejoining.

As a person working in retail, I witnessed in person decline in goods availability and increased prices, a total failure of whole UK supply chaine. He claims that half of the country will agree and half will see it as betrayal is utterly nonsense. I think most of the British are reasonable people who will welcome to have full shelves again in shops with good goods availability. I am aware that many will still complain as critical thinking is not owned by many Britons as they will fail to understand the positive impact of this deal.

Brexit didn't change anything for the fishing industry. There is a documentary about brexit and they interviewed the fisherman, all of them regretted voting to leave the EU.
