ОтветитьThe OE dimensions and proportions are IMO perfect. Don’t really like the added girth on the Redux and Hate the headlights. The OE ellipsoid are already perfect too.
Props to Retropower on this partnership.

ОтветитьIf they would've done the build on a normal E30 3 series like a 325i or a 318i and not to an original M3, I'd be far more inclined to doing that rather than possibly ruin the value of a rare car. Still, what Redux have done here is absolutely INCREDIBLE

ОтветитьThis car is obvs not for someone who will have to really think about the money. Personally I think they should just be restoring these rare cars rather then modding them but you can't deny they are works of art.

ОтветитьI have an old E30 318i (not is). It is a wonderful car and power is definitely not an issue. Does anything you ask of it and always gives you a smile. It is probably the most rewarding everyday vehicle to drive.

I'm 56 years old and I can count the treasures one by one. When it comes to the BMW E30 M3, the flowing waters stop. But this restomod is very expensive and the seats are a disaster. Also, insisting on 4 cylinders is pointless. There are those who put 10 cylinders. Porsche and Ferraris do not get slapped otherwise.

ОтветитьTakes a genuine E30 M3 and tries to do what Singer did for the 911 but fails miserably. Who cares how many silly dots are in those baggy seats? Or how many lines there are on the cam cover? E30's are already priced out of the hands on most enthusiasts anyway and the price on this is insane. People have been modifying E30 M3 since day one and there's nothing new here. I built mine for nowhere near the cost of this and it may only have 260bhp and LEDA suspension, on 17's but at least the rear brake bias is correct and it doesn't puff oil smoke! £330k plus a donor car?!! Genuine LOL. A fool and their money!

ОтветитьIf you've ever seen Retropower in Hinckley's work, it becomes apparent why it costs that much.
But 330k is eye-watering.
the torque isn't mentioned, I know that the racing m3 e30s lacked torque when they had 300 hp but had 10,000-ish rpm
