dapat ang dpwh mag provide sa hiway ng runaway truck ramp, lalo na sa road na pababa galing mountain. kelan kaya magkakaroon dito sa Pilipinas 😊.
ОтветитьHow often do trucks Runaway that they need to build these??? Wouldn't it be a more practical solution to put a engine cut off switch in the cabin???
ОтветитьCan someone explain to me, all this could ve been avoided if they just drove in second gear or something? Or not?
Ответитьthese seem very impractical. You gonna place these every X kilometers?
ОтветитьWait, why is this a thing that needs to exist? Why are truck brakes failing so often that this is worth building??
ОтветитьI think it’s time we look into why brakes are failing so much. Let’s start requiring a back up system of brakes just in case.
ОтветитьIf truck breaks are failing th3n just stop pushing gas pedal and truck will eventually stop lol Unless you're on neverending downhill highway or something lol I never seen emergency truck runaway
ОтветитьI never knew these existed until i started studying for a CDL
Ответитьthat feeling when you wanna go to a toilet but it's already occupied 😬
ОтветитьHow about make a reliable brake system?!
Ответитьwhy is every single person in this video brown
ОтветитьLike running to the toilet and finding someone on it.
ОтветитьThey could’ve just braked….
ОтветитьCan someone explain the process behind the decision of those things being build. I'm just wondering if those things are only installed if there were enough cases of non-functional breaks, or if they are f.e. build on new roads with the potential of massive damage due to malfunction breaks.
Ответитьну ладно тормоза отказали. но двигателем то можно тормозить?
ОтветитьDon't need in Germoney❤
ОтветитьThat crane makes it even more epic of a construction.
ОтветитьSe não me engano essa é uma rodovia do Paraná, aqui no Brasil
ОтветитьВ США действительно так много тупых водителей, которые не умееют тормозить двигателем или ретардером?
ОтветитьLiterally unbelievable...... A "catch lane" in a specific place for lorrys with no brakes ? Bizarre !
ОтветитьI don't understand why they don't just disengage the engine? When you press the clutch or in an automatic transmission, the "neutral" gear means that the crankshaft movement is not transferred to the drive and the truck stops itself (friction stops it), even though the engine can run at maximum speed.
So why this solution? Is it neither safer nor easier?
Cool vid.
I feel though this could be improved by putting in a ramp though;
If one is going to use the lane might as well have some fun too.
Brazilian roads, ramps are filled with expansive clay.
Fortunately, this saves the lives of those who carry progress from one side to the other.
Pretty cool that we have these!
ОтветитьHaving a gantry there is pretty awesome. Very Well thought out.
ОтветитьYo mamaha
ОтветитьVolkswagen real quiet since this dropped
ОтветитьThis 52 second video showed the saving of countless lives! Wow
ОтветитьWhere is this ramp?
Ответить🎶 I'm unstoppable, I'm a truck with no brakes 🎶
Ответить😱😱👏👏👏💐💐💐🏆
Ответитьhow two trucks lose brakes at the same time
ОтветитьThat first truck driver who hops out of his truck is awfully calm about the 18 wheeler barreling toward him. Just hopes the guardrail and SITS ON IT. Jesus christ...jump
OVER it and get the hell away from it in case the truck coming at you veers to the left a bit and scrapes it.
why does it happen so often?
ОтветитьThis can clearly be on even smaller scale. Actually not bad idea to put these at highway exits, especially if it's end of highway.
ОтветитьI've seen these often when I was a kid and we went on holiday in Austria. I always wondered what it would look like if a truck used them.
ОтветитьWhen you're in the mountains of West Virginia, you'll see a lot of these.
ОтветитьWait, so, is that why they’re there for? 😮
ОтветитьIt's kind of crazy that brake failures are so common that they build these large infrastructures but it's not addressing the underlying issue in any way. Better brakes, flater slopes or different routes is the real solution.
ОтветитьThey used to fine drivers for using the runaway ramp regardless of the reason, until they found that some drivers would never use them because of that and would rather crash so they have a chance at blaming faulty equipment. They changed that rule after a driver crashed into a police station, i think it was in Idaho
ОтветитьHow come this doesnt happen to European trucks?
ОтветитьExactly like Kenyan roads. .😶
ОтветитьRunaway truck ramps - cheaper than implementing proper safety regulations for your trucks
ОтветитьWhy is braking so unreliable that we need dedicated runoffs constructed?
ОтветитьMexico
ОтветитьВ нашем мyx0cpaнске дороги и не такие, любой вездеход и внедорожник застрянет глубоко и навеки
Ответить내리막길이 어떠길래 ㄷㄷ
ОтветитьBased!
ОтветитьFinally, the Brazilian government did something worthwhile.
