I used to listen pop music like Horse with no name but we moved to California where my Uncle Steve introduced me to Rainbow and the song he first played for me was
Man on the Silver Mountain. I was a complete fan after that. I wound up falling in love with Deep Purple and Led Zeppelin. These groups music are still incredible after 47 years.

This is pretty damn good for a cover song. You can here it in their voices, they are getting lost in the moment and letting the music take over. That is what music is all about, what the song does for the individual emotionally. It’s cathartic and good for the soul.

This is really good, but I still like the growl of Rainbow better. It lends a little bit more to the “feeling” of the lyrics. But, don’t get me wrong (pun intended) this is an extremely well done cover.

If you close your eyes you can't tell it's a cover band. It sounds like the original band awesome.

seldom does cover equal the original. You guys nailed it and was for the original. Graham still sings well but you add a flair to it with the harmonies and you are live not studio version. Excellent!!

Rainbow version was a cover in 1979. Head East recorded in 1977. And even that wasn't the first. Russ Ballard released it in 1976
