ОтветитьThank you Ben for all your advice. It helped a lot in the exam.
ОтветитьThanks for your extremely useful tips, Ben. Your advice has really helped me relax, since as you said, this kind of exams are really intimidating sometimes.
ОтветитьIn exercise 2, you almost never use a noun.
ОтветитьNot me watching this 1 hour before my C2 Proficiency Cambridge English exam… 😅
ОтветитьYou are insanely good at teaching. I wish my kids a teacher like you one day! Thanks for your great tips.

ОтветитьCould you tell me please. In computer-based exam how should I write answers in capital letters as in paper-based?
ОтветитьBen I couldn't agree more! Excellent tips
Ответитьhello, so i accidentally wrote everything in cursive in part 4, will it affect my total score?
ОтветитьI took the CPE today and man, thank you so much!! Your videos have been of great help to me, especially this tip to start with the reading part. I'm grateful that you decided to post all of these videos for free, this way anyone can prepare for the exam with you. Thanks again!!!
ОтветитьThank you bro now I feel more confident about the exam, not enough though.
ОтветитьThank you so much for this Ben! I've been preparing for months now but I still get bad results. I often get 182 or 184 and I rarely get 191-2. This is making me extremely nervous for my exam which is next week. I don't think I'll pass but regardless your videos are incredible!

First of all, I am grateful with all the advice that you have shared with us. Secondly, I wonder If I am bein preparing for FCE for several months is better to take FCE o C1 ?
word formation is a walk in the park .
ОтветитьWith use of English I am amused It is interesting Thanks again for your explanution
ОтветитьThx so much for all the amazing tips! I got 193 points in the C1 exam with no preparation whatsoever, just by watching your videos :)
ОтветитьI am here to thank Ben for every information he has provided me about CAE exam. i swear, i would not have been able to do this exam without him. I scored 189 out of 210 and passed C1. i kinda wish i would have scored 3 more marks to have grade B but its alright.
ОтветитьI HAVE THE EXAM TOMORROW h e l p
Ответитьfor the first part i'll suggest looking for prepositions, most of the times you'll be able to eliminate options by realizing that the preposition needed is not there.
ОтветитьHi and thanks for your video!
I will be doing my CAE tomorrow and one thing that really makes me nervous is the Key word transformation. Make sure that you follow the word count, f.e. in FCE there are less words you can put in the box than in CAE.
for part 4, do you have to get the sentences correct word for word to get full 2 points? if you have one small mistake, perhaps a wrong article or preposition, does that leave you with only 1 point? I'm taking the CPE in May
ОтветитьThanks for the video! I'll take my CAE in May and part 4 of Use of English terrifies me 😀 I hope extra practice will do 🤞
ОтветитьI have my exam next month, I’m so scared... I suck at use of English, especially at part 4, I don’t know what to do... I think I should study more vocabulary, but I’m not sure how to do it
EDITED: I passed my C1 English exam, thank you for making these videos, you helped me a lot
Hi Ben ! Always me ! You may find my consistency in watching your videos odd, but trust me I'am getting a tremendous amount of meaningful information and encouragement from doing so. Not only from the tips and advice you provide in them, which are really important to me, but also simply because I listen to you. I find your English perfect and, therefore, a good way to learn English to become more effective, confident and proactive. Simply put, every time I listen to your videos, I become an absorbent sponge of anything and everything comes out of your mouth. I feel so lucky to have found your channel. Thank you very much !

just a tip from someone who started the night before the exam.
I”m watching this video 2 days before my CAE exam! Please pray for me in order to come back with good news
ОтветитьI taking the CPE exams in about 10 days. I'm pretty anxious because my scores are preety low. I mean, the highest I reach in the Use of English section is 35. I hope I'm lucky.
I'm extraordinarily good in the speaking part as well as in the writing...but use of english and sometimes listening get me confused.
Excellent video! Your channel has been my main resource for tips and pieces of advice for the exam so far. I am truly thankful for having access to such an enriching material in this platform. If I get a good grade I will let you know!
ОтветитьIn Part 4, contractions are considered as two words? (shouldn't = should + not, so 2 words instead of one word?)
ОтветитьQue el advice de la part 4 sea que no te asustes, dice mucho de la part 4
ОтветитьI am 3 days before the exam
Ответитьgreat tips ! I´d add that in the word formation exercise , most of the times appears an adverb and one plural noun.
ОтветитьHey Ben, out of curiosity... what exam are those examples you are using in the video from?
ОтветитьI think that it is also something important and it is the strategy.
Basically go straight to your strenghts and leave to the end your weaknesses. If you are good in the part 3, so-so in 4 and bad in 2. It is good idea to do 3-4-2.
In this way you will build up your trust and avoid waste time in something that it is very likely you will not do well. If you do 2-4-3. You will start unsecure and wasting time
Thank you once again
ОтветитьNot me watching this 10 days before my CAE test😭 Wish me luck!🤞🏼
ОтветитьThanks, great stuff. I only hope that we won't have such ambiguous sentences as _____ didn't rain 😃, bc how to get it's not about having a party, but about a drought
ОтветитьThank you a lot! I'm watching your videos and you have really helped me.😊 I want to say about the time someone should spend, I usually spend around 5 seconds to each of the 4 parts so that I can save more time for the 3 parts of the reading which are and the most difficult in my opinion.
ОтветитьThanks a lot, i really appreciate it
