ОтветитьThis video was a real eye-opener! I always thought testosterone was only about muscle and libido, but now I see how deeply it affects energy, mood, and even brain clarity. The breakdown of each factor—from poor sleep to hidden endocrine disruptors—was so clear and practical. I especially appreciated the point about sugar and stress silently wrecking our hormone balance. Thank you for educating us in a way that’s both science-based and easy to understand. Subscribed and sharing this with my friends who need this info!
ОтветитьI’ll try to eat in moderation, stay active, sleep well, and just live happily.
ОтветитьI disagree with your assessment of carbs and testosterone. There are numerous studies which show that a higher carb diet reduces cortisol and increases testosterone.
ОтветитьI've been aware of these testosterone destroyers for years. My problem is how to ACTUALLY STOP them. How to (1) STOP STRESS (2) STOP INSOMNIA (3) STOP CRAVING CARBS including sugars etc etc etc. (4) I just don't have sufficient WILL POWER. Thanks. I'm depressed.
ОтветитьInsightful & interesting; very well explained! I felt that I was back @ school in the classroom where the board & teacher are the basics of the pedagogy of teaching.
ОтветитьDoctor ekberg, do you have a video on how to increase testosterone naturally?
ОтветитьPlease give some examples of application
Ответить❤🙏💪
ОтветитьExcellent!
ОтветитьExcellent…thanks
ОтветитьAnd as always I'm an exception, again. What a surprise 😆 I'm starting to think I'm an 👽 lol Sooo, my testosterone is really low due to inborn chromosome mutation. But my mental clarity, overall energy, libido are way better then average. I'm healthy and I look twice as young. I am practicing keto diet for past year or 2 but that wasn't a game changer for things I've mentioned earlier, it just helped lose some wight. Any thoughts?
ОтветитьShaving all your body hair off drops your testosterone down to less than half what you had when you were 15 🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьSir thank you very much for lecture

ОтветитьThe doctor was correct in stating that **higher insulin levels reduce SHBG**, which is beneficial for increasing **free testosterone**. However, this relationship has important implications for different metabolic phenotypes:
- *General Population:* Elevated insulin (e.g., from carb intake) lowers SHBG, leading to higher free testosterone.
- *Insulin-Suppressed Individuals (e.g., Deep Carnivores):*
- These individuals have *chronically low insulin* due to minimal carbohydrate intake.
- Without insulin signaling, **SHBG remains elevated**, binding more testosterone and reducing free testosterone availability.
- Blood markers in such individuals often show **very low insulin**, confirming an insulin-suppressed state.
*Key Takeaway:*
While high SHBG is problematic for testosterone availability in low-insulin phenotypes (e.g., strict carnivores), moderate insulin activity helps optimize free testosterone by suppressing SHBG.
10 ways people may unknowingly lower their testosterone levels, emphasizing testosterone’s role in energy, mood, metabolism, mental clarity, motivation, and overall health for both men and women. The ways include:
- Excess sugar and carbs: Raises insulin, lowers SHBG, increases estrogen, reduces luteinizing hormone (LH), and decreases testosterone production.
- Chronic stress: Elevates cortisol, which competes with testosterone for precursors like cholesterol and DHEA, prioritizing survival over testosterone synthesis.
- Poor sleep: Disrupts REM sleep, reducing testosterone by up to 50% in a week and lowering LH.
- Endocrine disruptors: Chemicals like plastics and pesticides mimic hormones, blocking testosterone signaling and production.
- Low-fat or vegan diets: Lack cholesterol, zinc, vitamin D, B12, creatine, and carnitine, reducing testosterone by 10-15%.
- Lack of strength training: Failing to challenge large muscle groups (e.g., legs, glutes) or perform high-intensity interval training reduces testosterone and growth hormone.
- Excess body fat: Visceral fat increases aromatase, converting testosterone to estrogen, complicating supplementation.
- Overtraining: Without adequate recovery (48-72 hours), exercise breaks down muscles, raises cortisol, and lowers testosterone.
- Excess alcohol: Stresses the liver, impairs estrogen metabolism, reduces zinc absorption, and increases estrogen relative to testosterone.
- Vitamin D deficiency: As a hormone, vitamin D directly supports testosterone production and gene expression.

🤔🤔 #1 Is Myth Busted. Carbs Does not lower Testosterone. Shawn Baker example as a Carnivore no carbs and T levels Free 49 pg/mL and low 200's Total. Add in Carbs like Paul Saladino and others the Testosterone comes back.
ОтветитьDear person who's reading this., I don't know you but I wish your days are filled with happiness, health and wealth. 🙏
ОтветитьExcellent content! Thank you!
ОтветитьI hate that word "shocking."
ОтветитьIt's not on the list, but, stop jacking off. You're literally jettisoning your testosterone on the daily. No wonder you're doing everything "right," yet you're still built like a sandbag filled with soy beans.
This is an unsolicited public service announcement for whomever requires it.
Good luck.
You forgot CHEMTRAILS
ОтветитьBro carbs don't lower testosterone, look at the literature
ОтветитьThank you Sensei Lee. Perfect explanation. Greetings from Caracas/Venezuela
ОтветитьWhat im missing in the list are, party drugs, common prescription drugs, hormone intake.(75% of regular gym users take hormones and other performance enhancing drugs). Lifestyle or carreer choices. And last enviromental sitiuation.
Ответить1. Sugar
2. Processed foods
3. Acting like a sissy
4. Gossip

8. Eating vegetables
9. No exercise
10. Smoking
Awesome!
What do you think about Raw Eggs and Avidin. The Avidin can become denaturated by cooking but also by Acid so it shouldn't be a Problem because of our stomach acid.
11th way is not watching the video to completion
ОтветитьNot shocking
ОтветитьThis Vid begins to touch the new Fad Diet...Sugar Diet/Fast. I'd love to see your take on this Sugar Diet Craze and address it head on!
ОтветитьGood work brother.
I hope you are born again through our lord and savior Jesus Christ.
I’d like to see you in heaven brother.
When I watch Dr Erberg,s videos as if I am in an university lucture. Thank you. Mosul city.

ОтветитьThats why our governments want us to stay of meat and avoid sunlight. They wanted to create generations of weaklings, so they cannot rise up.
Zoomers and Millenials are proof of this.
Very useful information. I was also pleasantly surprised by the audio is provided in multiple languages. Thanks.
ОтветитьI’m a former doctor, and ‘The Secrt HeaIth Reset’ is one of the few books I suggest all my patients to read. It’s that powerful and eye-opening
Ответитьyes
ОтветитьSugar and carbs? Only half true. Fruit, berries, and things like white rice and boiling potatoes are insanely good for testosterone.
ОтветитьThis was one of the most informative and eye-opening videos I’ve seen on testosterone health. I always thought boosting testosterone was just about exercise or supplements, but I had no idea that sugar, poor sleep, vitamin D deficiency, and even low-fat diets could have such a big impact. The explanation about aromatase and how visceral fat can actually convert testosterone into estrogen really blew my mind. Thank you for breaking this down in a way that’s both scientific and easy to understand—subscribed and already rethinking my daily habits!
ОтветитьAre you sure about the SHBG? My understanding was the opposite of what you presented - that higher SHBG lowers free T, while lower SHBG increases free T.
