You know what's funny? I left a comment on Lindell Audio LIN76 video, on their Lindell Audio channel.
They were comparing their LIN76 compressor, Warm Audio 1176 clone, original UAD 1176, and Klark Teknik 1176-KT, and I only said:

That nothing can compare to UAD 1176, Warm Audio was so close to 1176, but like a different compressor with its' own character (I actually loved it), and then I said it followed up with Lin76, and Klark Teknik being the worst.

I left that comment twice, and they kept deleting it.
Warm Audio 1176 is so worth it, if you can't afford original 1176

Lindell Audio sounds great if you don't hear Warm Audio and original UAD side by side. BUT FAAAAAAAAAR from original 1176. Warm Audio is well worth it.
Klark Teknik 1176 clone sounds very plastic like :-/

You can tell so much thought when into this. I've seen some janky ass studio setups and been that engineer working behind one! It really makes you appreciate seeing something so clean and buttoned up.

How come Warm Audio clones everything and doesn’t get the same crap behringer gets? I understand they actually have quality items unlike behringer. But does anyone else wonder this?? Alls warm audio does is clone gear and sell it for cheaper. Ya those are true carnhill in/out transformers in the wa73, but the power transformer is Chinese and so are all the other components that make up 99% of the circuit.. 🤔 I have a wa273 and it’s great, but you get what you pay for always

I'm actually surprised the consoles aren't a dual operator Avid S6 or an SSL Duality in a giant facility like this.

I am not buying any warm audio now or the near future , the fact that he is a copy cat who tried to make a version of all popular item by Neumann and Neve and UAD for a lot cheaper , its a big turn off for me . I like and respect people who come up with original items on their own . But hey he don’t hive a shit about what i say he is making money ✌🏻

As practical as this studio seems… it just feels so corporate. There’s something that feels so right about a real ‘60s Neve where half the channels don’t work and a patch bay that’s wired backwards.

Maybe it’s that the lighting is too cool, maybe that it’s too open. Maybe it’s how none of the diffusion is floor to ceiling, it’s all just panels stuck on the wall. Idk, it looks expensive but is missing vibe IMHO
