This man seems to be more concerned with women's orgasm than getting the right treatment. It's so annoying.

LEEP is not "scrapping" its using a hot wire to cut out a piece of the cervix.

I think asking a patient the source of their orgasm is not appropriate. However, I do feel like it is important to discuss the risks of the procedure and to also take the initiative to ask if you’re the patient

Too little is known about so many aspects of women's health and sexuality. As a woman, I am extremely frustrated by this lack of knowledge.

Also, the general public seems to have very little understanding of hpv and the fact that sex in all forms (vaginal, oral, anal) has cancer risks and medical inconveniences, especially for women, and psychological aspects from these inconveniences as a consequence of different sexual behaviors. People can be very nonchalant about sex, partially because of the difficulty with having conversations with their doctor and even among friends so much so that this is almost a dangerous secret.

Look up Michael Douglas throat cancer cause as well actress Marsha Cross cause of rectal cancer.

Question: Are tests available for prevention of these other cancers when high risk is identified due to vaginal precancerous cells? Also, is it truly known if a male partner can reinfect their female partner? I'd really like to have a discussion on these things if anyone is monitoring comments.

That female doctor is so arrogant....... no doctor in any field has a 100% success 100% of the time. No one was accusing her of anything. Instead of saying yes this can and does happen to some women she goes almost on the attack. This kind of arrogance By Doctors in the past led to unnecessary sufferIng for patients . It must be to do with how our doctors are trained because it’s still happening now in the 21st century. Though the medical fraternity now recognise the mistakes they made in the past in relation to patients pain , after effects ,trauma etc sustained and inflicted by necessary procedures they are still doing it in the present.

DOCTORS...
STOP LYING & SUGAR COATING THESE PROCEDURES!
NOTE: Colposcopy & LEEP without sedation is barbaric & TRAUMATIC!
I had them both done in my 20's. I'm 60 & STILL cannot listen to anything to do with cervical dysplasia.

I think many doctors don't know this risk and we do need to stress our needs before the surgery.

I had LEEP procedure done a few months ago and I am fully healed. I have been experiencing difficulty in my intimate life. I have been with my husband for 15 years so I am very comfortable and know my body very well with him. I disagree with the woman doctor because my entire uterus was not removed, it was a very small amount and I’m still having issues. I have joined the Facebook group and hopefully I can find tips and talk to people who have gone through what I’m going through.
