So I don’t like the way Geff is portrayed with the gay couple thing simply because it’s like sickeningly, sweet, opposed to just kind of like yeah I’m gay. Also Jeff threaten to fuck up his best friend and threaten to end a child because the dude that Molly likes he’s like 12 Or 13 or 14 at most and he basically threaten to fuck that kid up instead of actually talking with these people, he chose to threaten them because that’ll totally when you favors with your lover the dude is a supernatural red flag

Ollie is BY FAR my least favorite character, he essentially boils Molly's character to Drooling Idiot. The Chen family is SOOOO forced and it's very hard to like him, he was only made to be with Molly.
I found myself resenting Molly for being mad at Scratch for sabotaging her and Ollie's "ship".
I honestly think the writers could have done romance better than....

While I don't like the Mollie ship and am disappointed that it's canon now even though I knew it was coming from a mile away, I wouldn't go as far as to say that it ruined the entire show because it didn't. The Chens are interesting antagonists and Ollie and June are sweet and cool characters. I especially enjoy Molly and Ollie's friendship dynamic even if I don't ship it romantically.

The Chens would’ve been great villains like they should be the opposite of the ghostbusters heck maybe even the opposite the 2016 ghostbusters if you really think about it since they look the McGees sure we know that now all ghosts are bad but what about when molly sent free all ghosts from season 1 final is it possible molly have set evil ghosts if the Chens do learn not all ghosts are bad maybe they should walk away or somehow disappear or went crazy to stop ghosts or they sacrifice themselves after learning their mistake or not , Lorddoom was a wasted character just like the biz mart character since he could’ve have been a great villain but instead we got a crazy character who got stuck in a baby doll and I thought the biz mart character was going to do something similar like hey Arnold the movie when scheck tries to buy Arnold neighborhood and change it to a mall but nope and I didn’t like the Gay in season 2 that just wrong, at least jinx was a good villain in season 2 final I give her credit for that, also it could’ve been better if ollie started the ghost hunting instead of his dad like how molly started making friends with a ghost, it would’ve been cool to see him catching ghosts and molly learns that she and ollie are not the just like how Buzz tells his future self their not the same and I would’ve like to see molly and ollie as enemies because molly would met her match and already has scratch season 2 should’ve focused on molly and scratch how far they came and learning who they truly are including their friendship

Hard disagree. Molly and Ollie are adorable together, and their interactions with each other are hilarious. And with Ollie being anti-ghost, it adds a lot of interesting dynamics to the story and its characters with Molly being torn between her feelings for him and her loyalty to Scratch.

All I want to say here is I appreciate your input on Andrea Davenport, she's my favorite character on the show.

Even as someone who doesn't ship Molly with anyone, there's a simple word that describes Molly and Ollie's relationship: FORCED. It's literally like the writers said, "Here's Ollie. He's with Molly. Now like it." I can see from Molly fans of her with Andrea or Libby that it can even come off as some executive/writer freaking out that, "After finishing the first season/20 episodes, the only characters people can ship Molly with are girls. So, lets insert a guy for her to crush on or make non-LGBTQ+ shippers happy."

Honestly, I would be okay with Ollie and Molly if they had gradually built them up or even had the Chens next door Season 1 and later find out they are ghost hunters. However, Ollie just comes across as having all these things in common (though, is Molly a vegetarian too as I don't think so). It also would have been nice if Molly would have fell for him at first, only to find out more and more about him, and realize that they aren't as compatible or dating material as she first thought (which happens when rushing into a relationship and thinking you are going to get married, but later learn there are deal breakers/not as compatible/etc.).

Instead, we basically get a shipping that feels dropped on us, rushed in only about 7 episodes (whether due to less episodes in Season 2, Season 1 being done already, a higher up not wanting too much Molly pushing with girls/LGBTQ+, or some combination), and it feels like they are making them a couple on purpose rather having it develop/grow/etc. naturally or to actually have a reason to like them as a couple.

Season 2 made the show go downhill and I hate it sm ☹️

The second I saw Ollie it was only a matter of time until I ended up dropping the show, it's transparently obvious that Ollie is only there for an unnecessary and generic romantic plot, and it doesn't help that he's a charisma vacuum. As a casual viewer, Ollie blows.

Well, months have passed, Ollie and Mollie are just friends, Ollie is part of the clique and is even acquainted with Scratch, Ollie has a noticeably different personality than Mollie, and more and interesting plots arose. So I guess everything is in better order (which I didn’t mind initially).

I remember when Ollie was leaked, I hated him off the bat. Because Ollie felt like a straight up genderbent and I thought he was going to be from en episode where Molly gets sent to a genderbent world…

There's nothing wrong with having romance in the series. We just need more to do with the characters. Maybe add some much needed villains.

You might bring this up, I'm making a sin my creating a comment before the video ends. But if Ollie was the only one in his family that believes in ghosts and tries to hunt them to prove to his parents that they are real. Maybe due to him finding a ghost when he was young and that ghost scaring him, but his parents never believed him.. This would give him a character, the downside is that it would turn him into the bad guy by making him get closer to Molly since he knows that she has a Ghost Friend. But because of this, it would cause the two of them to get closer together. Making them have small moments, even teaming up to help defeat evil ghost. This would also help Ollie by making him a different person, even though he would have to be rather mean to do so.
