The Italian Police should have been imprisoned for life & charged with murder.
ОтветитьYou missed Jochen Rindt!
ОтветитьI watched and kept thinking about thoses who lost there lives and kept getting to the same question , how responsible should bernie ecclestone be ? Amature .
ОтветитьAs the Taiwanese,I know these severe crashes very before , but I haven't seen anyone like you explain these accidents in such detail ,and it really awful to see those talented drivers passed due to the crashes ~~ But like you say,we need to appreciate these drivers give us such perfect performances.
ОтветитьYes that was painful…
ОтветитьThe sad part of many of these losses, to me at least, is that so many of them were completely avoidable.
ОтветитьCan not think of anything I don't know what it is like to hear your best friend screams when being burned to death I wish they would stop this kind of racing nothing about it is safe
ОтветитьThank you for this "Well thought-out" Documentary - upload!
ОтветитьMost of these incidents brought tears to my eyes because I knew the drivers having been watching them race and often seeing the crashes happening in live coverage. Too sad and I thank you for putting this together.
ОтветитьIsn’t it sad that every safety measure is written in blood.
ОтветитьI find myself blessing every driver that lost his life in this video it's hard to watch no matter how old you get the thrill of victory I'm not sure if it's worth it.
ОтветитьAn extremely well produced and written film. A double thumbs up to Jack Palmer. I can't think of any media company in the world that could do a better job.
ОтветитьThe Roger Williamson accident and the follow on of David Purley is by far the worst state of circumstances - very sad !! very sad indeed
ОтветитьThat video at the end of David Purley realising he couldn't save his friend and none of the other drivers stopping to help is shocking
ОтветитьFoam AFFF suppressant should be widely available like used with aircraft crashes. Maybe it is now.
ОтветитьWow. These blew me away man. Just so beautifully and respectfully done. A privilege to watch.
ОтветитьNot everyone is cut out to be a racing driver, let alone an F1 driver.. All of these men are legends, heroes to many, but for those of us that follow F1, all Legends.. But it IS a choice, they make that choice, they understand the ramifications of making it.. And they are making it knowing they put themselves in danger.. As the great Ayrton Senna once said "Being second is to be the first of the ones that lose"...
Thank you for the video.
Jesus that Rubens accident crazy
ОтветитьSad that Schlesser's car had magnesium. I've seen it burn up close. It requires a lot of surface contact with oxygen. If you heat up a chunk or a even a pile of magnesium shavings, without introducing the air flow, then it will react silently, but as soon as you add O2, it'll explode brighter than a flash bulb. It can burn you with radiative heat alone.
ОтветитьI never like seeing people say they enjoyed, or loved a video on here thats made about people dying.
That being said, you still are due respect and appreciation for the hard work youve done on yours. These were very well made, and more importantly, the care and dignity in which you used to cover such horrible stories, is applaudable.
Gilles Villeneuve, the biggest loss for F1.
ОтветитьThe fact that a 6 year old and father were killed in the 1961 crash is appalling. How did they let that happen😢
ОтветитьAs with Part 1, very well done.
The 2000 Italian GP was the first one I actually saw all the way through, thanks to a friend recording it on VHS. Honestly, with the adjustments to the Lesmos, I think they could well go back to the older, more onpen version of the 2nd chicane, which would reduce the compression zone, and thus the chances of another, similar pile-up.
Combination of driver miscommunication and inadequate car structure.
Just a really bad deal there.
The Law of Probability saying it's really not your weekend. Not good having unprotected concrete there before Tosa. (Should have learned that lesson from Winkelhock at Mosport in '85.). And then it was just kind of a freak occurrence with Senna.
You understand why, but they really knee-jerked after Imola '94, and we're still paying for it. For one, they intentionally made the cars aerodynamically "dirtier" to slow them down, and we've had to deal with those wake-turbulence issues ever since.
(And current cars are 2,000 mm wide, whereas, for a while there in the '80s, they were 2,200 mm, on narrower circuits.)
And of course, unfortunately, the racing at Imola has never been that great since then.
You never want to blame the driver at all in situations like this. Just in general though, I feel like driver discretion used to be better. Catching up to the Safety Car queue is fine, but drive to the conditions. (It's actually pretty astounding watching old race broadcasts and seeing how often course vehicles were "just out there".)
There were several botched starts in 1978, and I'm really not sure why that year in particular was so bad for it. It was a very similar, and unexpected, injury that claimed the life of Ernst von Delius back in the '30s.
Okay. Not good to be hiding an immovable object like that.
As was actually noted in the "Grand Prix" movie, maybe better they didn't run those lighter cars on the Monza Banking anymore.
Yeah, Mercedes gave us a case study in magnesium at Le Mans in 1955. (It also seemed like your number was up if you went by "Jo" as a racing driver around that time: Schlesser, Siffert, and Bonnier. Just one of those weird and freaky things.)
A bad deal all around there at Kyalami.
Woeful lack of preparation there at Zandvoort. And not the first time a driver survived the impact, but not the ensuing fire. Swede Savage and "Fireball" Roberts come to mind as well.
Definitely a video to take your time (take breaks) with. Excellent job nonetheless.
I'll never forget San Marino, 1994. We were on holiday in Wales, watching the race in our caravan. I remember my father's reaction to the Ayrton crash, all he said was 'He's dead' and it was so upsetting watching it all has a kid. Death of an absolute legend. Rest in peace to all those legends who lost their life doing what they love.
ОтветитьBeautifully done 🎉
ОтветитьI have never seen that Senna quote before. But it pains me to know that he was right. It is also eerie how cursed 1982 was. The same year Gilles would die, Pironi's career ended in Germany, and Paletti would die in Canada, when the track was renamed in Gilles' honor.
ОтветитьBro, tu sabes que todas las vidas valen lo mismo no? Bro
Menos los de vox bro
Thank you for not just the quality of the video but the complete lack of ‘smash that like button blah blah blah’ and the respect shown through the whole video.
My kinda channel
I can't watch it all. It's just too much!@!%/*&^
ОтветитьWelp I guess I’m always gonna come back to nostalgic racing content even in this crazy world
Ответить"It is my sad duty..." No, it's your choice.
ОтветитьUtterly brutal. 😮
ОтветитьGrößte sch... Vid ever. Wo sind denn die fetten Unfälle, Großmaul??
Ответитьthis is not the true senna's death video
it's compromised
Wow some at only twenty fwee and firty fwee....just too many defs
ОтветитьYour weren't kidding. That Marshall's death was awful.
ОтветитьCome on, at least learn the pronunciation of possibly the greatest F1 driver ever to grace the sport. So disrespectful.
Ответить😔😔😔
ОтветитьSo incredibly thoughtfully, tactfully and sensitively presented.
ОтветитьThe whole footage of Tom Pryce and the you young 19 years old man first came out on viedeo on the series of "Faces Of Death", I think it was in the late 1980s.
ОтветитьMy happiness is, that Senna believed in Jesus Christ and it will be a pleasure for me to see him in Jesus Kindom.
ОтветитьGreat job on episode 2!! You definitely should be employed by a top network! Great production and a very nice reverence for the subject matter. You convey the importance of showing exactly what happened so it can hopefully be better for future drivers and spectators. And a great respect for those who have lost lives through the history of racing!!
ОтветитьShocking sad video. This is why f1 is so so dangerous and drivers get paid to survive true video well done for letting us all see this sad sad time
Ответитьto be quite honest, i cried
ОтветитьYou do a really good job at these documentaries, even if you have to get into other genres definitely keep at it, I think your subscribers will go through the roof
ОтветитьRip Roger Williamson. Worst racing crash I've ever had the displeasure of watching.
ОтветитьMoney first safety later. Road cars had seat beats in 1955, F1 compulsory in 1972. How many drivers have pulled fellow drivers from burning cars because fire marshals didn't have fire suits, it goes on and on.
Ответить
