ОтветитьWould you be able to do a video explaining blood sugar levels, high, low, what they mean, how they affect the functioning of the body, what are the units measuring? Something like you did for the blood pressure video.
As far as I know I don't have diabetes, but regardless I find it fascinating to know more about medical science, and blood in particular is quite interesting, I've on occasion had blood tests which measured a range of things such as cholesterol and other stuff, I'm guessing iron levels, maybe testosterone and other things. Would be nice to be able to more fully understand the results of such tests.
As blood sugar levels arw something that can be monitored at home, understanding them could be useful for many people.
Speak up can't hear ya at all
ОтветитьAnother loser selling rubbish on a channel. Not educational at all.
ОтветитьMore Videos. Dr Gill you are informative and knowledgeable.

ОтветитьMy father forgot to wash his hands before testing once, and he kept giving himself the wrong dose of insulin because his sugar was reading too high due to food on his skin. The EMS had to push 3 bags of glucose before they got him to the hospital, 10 minutes away. His sugar was down to 25...
ОтветитьI could watch your videos forever, thank you!
ОтветитьWell shit, I've been pricking my fingertips since 4 years old, and im 22 now, I think it's too late for my nerves lol.
ОтветитьDr James Gill… Thanks he next bond surely.
ОтветитьYou should have Dr. Abbie back on occasion and switch roles with her!
ОтветитьI was wondering if the blood sugar and anxiety are related and if yes, in which scale? Because I had a very stressful period in my life and after that I'm experiencing hypoglycemia whenever I don't eat and sleep properly. I'm watching this video almost two weeks later 😅🤦 sorry and thanks for the great content.
ОтветитьHello dr,. I have insulin resistence and have been put on inositol to manage it..i feel as though its not working..i still have extreme fatigue and thirst and dont feel better at all..is inositol usually given for insulin resistence?

ОтветитьWhat is the name of the meter? I have purchased 5 of them and they are not accurate.
ОтветитьRemember folks: T2DM is not a destiny and a lifelong illness, but it's preventable and reversible without the need for medicine through lowering the insulin resistance by just removing carbs from the diet.
ОтветитьDr. Voice is so ASMR
ОтветитьI didn’t catch what the right number or range is. Can we share that please?
ОтветитьI also heard that if you take cinnamon supplement tablets it acts as a more natural insulin that can help those with diabetes
ОтветитьI don’t understand what the End and Beginning video was all about. What was it the end of??
ОтветитьHI ABBIE

ОтветитьDr. Abbie rocks as a patient. Next time let's see her work on you Dr. Jimmy. ❤
ОтветитьThere is something inimitably comforting about content with both you and Abbie; a return to Dr Gill classic, from before you were intentionally ASMR.
ОтветитьAbbie! Excuse me, DR. ABBIE!!! 😀🥳
ОтветитьHey Dr Gill, one more question. I have an electronic measuring device on my arm that monitors my glucose.
After some exercise tonight, I took a blood test, which read 128 mg/dl
My electronic measurement was 174 mg/dl
Is that strange?
You look excited Dr Gill lol 😂 no just kidding, excellent video as usual!
ОтветитьHey Dr. Gill, thanks for this one. I have diabetes and never knew to take a blood stick from the side of my finger.
One question about units measure. How does the mmol/L relate to the 60 day A1c percentage?
Thank you so much I enjoy the way how you talk. Great 👍 video
ОтветитьBut ...... what's her name and date of birth?
ОтветитьI find it interesting that for testing purposes you use the non dominant hand but whenever I’m at the Red Cross giving blood they always use my dominant hand to check my hemoglobin because it’s always higher in that hand. I’m assuming for diabetes purposes it’s just to save pain for the patient and doesn’t actually have any real effect on the results but I’d be curious to know the differences if there are any, so fascinating!
