I have one of these in mint condition. It still works like new.
When you look on the bottom of this player, there is a "hold" switch. When that switch is on and you turn off the player, it will resume the song from the spot when you turned off the player as opposed to starting playback from track 1. Cool tech, and it sounds better than that MP3 junk. MP3 is the worst thing that has ever happened to music. Just my opinion.

Hey, I have one of these, but the disc won’t play. When you turned yours on, before it’s started playing, it had those lines like it was loading. Mine does that constantly, I don’t know how to make it play

Does this player make noises when it reads the CD? Some that you can hear through non isolated headphones (Sony MDR-ZX100). I just got the NE-0050 and it's doing it.

I have this model, got it second hand for £1 of eBay in the late 00s. The anti-skip/jog function is insanely good on it.

I think that last mode is to play your favourite tracks on the CD, and it will do so in sequential order, missing the ones that you do not want to hear. You need to favourite them first by pressing the play button until the bookmarked sign comes up on the LCD. Pretty cool.

One good thing about these over i pods or mp3 players is if batteries die there replaceable not soldered on to the device so once it dies permanently u throw out a perfectly good machine

Walkman cassettes were way better because running would skip the cd and they used to get scratched like a mf I was born 89 so I had plants of years with these old gems kids these days will never know the struggle

I received this exact model in 2009. Now in 2019 it still works so well, but the display is slowly dying.

My first ever cd Walkman was one of these got it in 2009 lasted till around 2012 then it packed in used everyday miss my child hood 😂 sitting in the back of my mams car listening to my 80s music had the back of the car full of cds

i have one of these and it's so much better than mp3 players any day of the week the sound is fantastic battery life is very good and you can shake it and the disc does not skip at all

found 2 of these at the local thrift store yesterday. one is exactly the same as this and the other is a slightly different model number lol being d-ej017ck where the silver one is d-ej011. the silver one works and the bkack does not. gonna give the black one to my buddy n see if he can fix it. the discs are rubbing and scraping and depenting on the thickness of the disc tbe level of scraping changes. these are from around the same period as my high end sony walkman i just sent out for repairs. i am shocjed that i found 2 high end sony cd walkmans at a thrift store. ALSO YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THE MEGA BASS YOU IDIOT

Rechargeable batteries was a godsend for these i used RadioShack nimh 2000 mah 2 of them would last 2 days or more on one charge

These range from $30 to $300 depending on the make and model, and the guy/website you see it on.
