We love u in the name of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
I completely disagree with your "case study" nobody can understand about the Gift of tongues unless u experience the Baptism of the Holy spirit .I'm a 24yr old born again daughter of my Jesus who Got baptised in the Holy spirit and recieved the Gift of tongues when I asked the Lord ,i used to have a bad opinion on speaking in tongues..But sis it's Biblical,it is to edify me and I don't use it to prove myself to anybody, bible is not smg that was alive yrs ago and is dead now..but is ALIVE AND ACTIVE !! it's not only for "dissecting every word and reasoning"..It's not an info book,you can't understand bible by our own MINDS you need someone who made those people write scriptures and that is THE HOLY SPIRIT TO UNDERSTAND.WORD ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH YOU NEED THE HOLY SPIRIT TOO.. spiritual gifts can be received even in these times,you don't have to "reason"everything but have faith like a child that they are REAL and can be received if we ASK God and believe.
I'm not here to criticize you DEAR SIS but to share the TRUTH out of my OWN experience.hope one day u will experience this beautiful gift and know what it is

You interpreting and concluding with your Carnal mind. Though I agree that there are many counterfeit manifestations and much disorder in the body, false prophets and so on. I heard severel testimonys about the glosa ( Tongues) from people hearing the gospel in their own language from a person speaking in ( babling) in tounges. I do respect your research and sincere heart but prejudice has hindered you receive the power and gifts of the spirit. I myself was healed from KOL lung Disease and much more after the baptism of the Spirit. I walked in healing by the gift of the spirit imidiently afterwards and so does everyone who receive the clothing of power from on high in acts. The gift has not ceased and will not before the perfect comes Wich is the kingdom of God. The kingdom of heaven is here now , and shall preach the kingdom of God, and in the gifts in the dispensation of grace. Then when judgment comes at Christ return and church age cease gifts will cease as the perfect has come into the world the kingdom of God. Please do a study on the difference between the two. Sister, I know your intentions are good; however, you could not be more deceived on who the Holy Spirit is and it is clear that you have not experienced true baptism in the spirit; otherwise, your eyes and ears would be open to the truth.
