Toneboosters has awesome plugins. I have been using them for a couple of years.

I discovered Toneboosters a while ago, and they're one of my favourite companies. Love Morphit, it's the first of their plugins I've bought (and there will be more)

I didn't know that the founder is now Australian based (and not so far from me) that's brilliant!

Somehow, by magic, all your recent content seems to be aligned with my current areas of focus.
I just completed headphone EQ curves that I got from a free app called AutoEQ , have you checked that out?
I'm going to look into what Tonebooster has to offer, never heard of them.
On a related subject, I'm considering grabbing the IK Media Acr system for my monitors, any thoughts on that?

The Toneboosters plugins are gorgeous. Have tried a few, and, more important, they work beautifully. Especially liking the Barricade TP limiter. If I could go back to when I started out, I'd advise my younger, more handsome self to buy these and avoid the skeuomorphic emulations that I've spent a fortune on over the years. They work extremely well, visualize beautifully, and, just wow. They easily challenge Fabfilter for my desert island plugin suite. And they're also generally surround compatible. Amazeballs.

What happens if they don't have my headphones listed? It's puzzling why they haven't included a feature to measure headphones, so one can understand the frequency response curve. Maybe in some countries people are using different headphones, it's not like everyone in the world have the same standards. I use some AKG knockoffs named ISK or something. Because they cost me the same price as you would pay for original model of AKG but in my country is double the price. And all of this is happening because the USA is helping with guns and wars. So they can have a good life, while the poor countries getting destroyed and their people become modern slaves. The USA never abandoned slavery, just changed place and definition.

Okay I noticed when you turn the limiter off on Morphit it sounds better than when turnt on? Should I leave the limiter on in morphit or off? Using audio technica m50x, appreciated for another great video

After the hyperdrive motivator has been damaged, Han Solo thought he would fix it with toneboosters or alluvial dampers. But he ended up using a hydrospanner - I don't know how he got out on this one.

But speaking of headphones, as I was rummaging through your videos, good Sir - there does not appear to be The Time Preservation Society's guide to headphone selection for the purposes of audio acquisition. I was wondering if you would like to embark on such a project. I am certain there would be at least two, if not three, of us who would rather watch such a video than actually get out there in the field to record some new shit. What do you say?

Morphit, what a lifesaver! It takes these nigh-useless mistake of a purchase AKG72 headphones and turns them into a decent option for mixing. The quality-to-cost ratio on Toneboosters' plug-ins is wild – the Multiband Compressor and Reelbus are another couple favourites of mine. Izotope this, Waves that, Toneboosters is underrated, just like this channel.

Just downloded Morphit and tested it with Audacity and my AudioTechnica M20x and they sound great.

Does the tool take into account your audio chain, or just the headphone themselves? i.e. my dac/amp stack.

I’m late with my post but hardly ever see decent Toneboosters reviews so had to add my appreciation. I bought Barricade, TB EQ Pro and the TB MB comp a few months ago. Just wow on every level. 1) usability is great. Easy to work out without a manual 2) sound quality is high res, digital manipulation is clean and accurate 3) analogue emulation, saturation works well 4) CPU hit on all (inc. Limiter) is remarkably low showing first rate programming design 5) cost and value for money is mind blowing. These aren’t just ‘cheap’ plugins, they’re actually cutting edge products at really low prices. I’ve compared my 3 plugins with my iZotope Ozone counterparts and TB often has extra functions e.g. being compressor and saturation modules within the limiter plug-in, genius. 64 nodes on the EQ and sustain / transient control on each, on top of all the filter shapes. Workflow is just unbelievable. Honestly, I’m astonished. TB model reminds me of Valhalla reverbs. Low price, non intrusive marketing, high quality and value. I’ll end up getting all of these I’m sure.

how does it work? does it read the eq of your current Headphones and flatten it and apply the correction of the said model of the headphones?
and how does it's emulation works? does it read your current headphones eq and flatten it and apply the eq curve of the headphones you want to emulate? please enlighten me thank you

Brilliant! I've been a Morphit user for years. It's too bad this plugin and most other Tonebooster plugins are not as well known as some of the plugins that are priced higher and many times are not as good. Great video!

What about latency? I play guitar, and often use headphones, so latency is very important to me. Could you tell me something about that?
