We need custom loadout... This game is so awesome for build a gun. We need to do it in arena. They could lock some gear with rank or lock the max monney you can use to build your preset and the Liberty and strategy inside this customs loadout could be awesome!

Arena has no pve support,

Level 1-20 is the most fun part about a wipe. It sucks you can do that in arena.

I just want a TDM mode with respawns.. FFA is nice but weird with people teaming up since you can queue with friends.

It’s a bit of a stretch to say that arena is ESSENTIAL to play tarkov.

It is at the very least a fun game and a novelty concept to have them linked in a way that benefits your character in both games at the beginning of wipe.

However, as the entire games history has told us, your characters level does not mean victory in tarkov, that comes down your game knowledge, then skill, then your available gear.

Enjoy both at your leisure, and don’t get caught up in the “meta”

Well if you can't beat them join them update.

They need to ditch the presets and just have a cs-like gamemode with economy mechanics. Maybe they could have a thing sort of similar to how cs2 now has you pick a limited number of weapons to be able to buy in game before you even enter a match. That way the buy period wouldn’t have to be like 5 minutes long between each round.

I would be more excited they fix the net code. Seems like sometimes you have host advantage or disadvantage. New netcode would change this game, I think.

I really like the direction the arena is heading and how it's evolving.
I could even imagine dual classes, like Marksman + Assault M1A Sass.
Daily and weekly missions could use some fine-tuning as well.
It's too easy to farm XP this way. Not that it bothers me excessively, but during a wipe, with a fresh character, this becomes too OP and everyone would just farm that. Early wipe in EFT wouldn’t really be the same. In the arena, you get about 10k XP if you win in roughly 10 minutes. This might be possible in a very successful factory raid, but on average, you get that in a very good 30-40 minute successful raid. If we look at it this way, it should be quartered (because of the time). The rubles might still be acceptable, but halving them would also be realistic. If someone runs out of money, there's the last hero mode where the kit doesn’t cost anything, so it's effectively free ruble grinding

My first game i go into in arenas is great takes 2 second but after that i could be in que for 30 minutes i hope the matchmaking is more improved but it seemed like no one was playing so its hard to get back into it

I really don't like Arena and nowmal EFT being linked since it seems "OP" at the moment. Guess we'll see.

so i think it can be saved but you are going to have to have a proper mode and a select a custom loadout and finally a way to move stuff back and forth that is cost effective lastly a good way to help the PMC in the reg game with arena

As a filthy casual I just don't have any interest in Arena. Not knocking those that do, just posting an opinion.

I will never care about Arena. It's like a different game to me.

They have to allow you to mess with the guns and attachments. Also I really wish they would overhaul the healing. It’s tedious, and the key binds are crap. I feel like the game feels like they’ve never actually played it and grinded it.

Arena could be fun but somehow the netcode/hitreg seems worse than the main game and the meta is stale.

Without match economy like in CS, the SND mode still lacks a lot of depth.
Yes, now there is an objective and the game is 1000x more interesting than the BS game mode we had, but still without the rounds affecting the next rounds after, there is no tension and essentially every round is a new game.
There is a lot more opportunities for exciting comebacks and twists when the rounds actually matter for the rest of the game.
oh and arena maps still look like shit. they should just take sections of the actual tarkov maps and confine them in an immersive way. the "Gladiators" setup is so cringe...

I wonder if they will add back the ability to select multiple modes (in the past you could pick Teamfight and Shootout) and if they will add the ability to select multiple tiers so matchmaking can be improved.

Rather play arena than COD. Could be optimized a bit, but still better than cod by a reasonable margin for me. A big team battle would be interesting!

Arena still doesn't look good to me and I won't touch it at the new wipe too. I hate the Tarkov mechanics in a competetive game. I think they are just a unecessary thing in a competetive game and it should be cleaner like CS2 or better CSGO. CS2 got some mechanics that try to mimick Valocunt and I hate those too and looking at the footage of arena it's a hard pass. I also think the linking between Arena and the Main game should be removed again or Arena has to be free to play. Everyone was upset about P2W in Unheard Edition but this is now actuall P2W you pay to play another game to earn currency for the main game to buy gear from it. Also the lootboxes give additional gear, just plain stupid.

I just hope that the custom preset/custom loadout for arena is tasteful. I dont want to be dicking around with the same presets or forced to progress with the base game to use the loadouts i want in arena. Custom presets will make or break Arena for the playerbase imo

With the removal of realistic armour hitboxes not even the main game will comeback. Yes, cod players will enjoy the cod gameplay for a few months, but the hard-core community left for good as this game turned into cod. Every year a new cod comes out. Tarjov became that. A COD that will wear after a few months of playing. It went from a unique game to another game

not being able to move outside of the factory is a big mistake.

Arena sux pretty hard.. Last Hero is absolute garbage.. maps 2 small, spawn locations are absolutely bugged.. ( for example spawning 20 times at the same position ) healing is so unneccessary.. i dont like it.

Aye I’m from \m/ too!!! I like arena a lot. I actually prefer the PvP in arena lol. I just don’t know the maps in base or where the obj are.
