I do the "bulk protein, maybe some bread" shopping hack.
ОтветитьIn this economy??
ОтветитьI do “get whatever I need and leave”
ОтветитьUmmmmmmmm whaaaaatttttttt tttttthhhhheeee siggggggmmmmmmmaa
ОтветитьWow I noticed how big the vegetables are in this video. I come from Switzerland and here it is forbidden to genetically modify plants. I think it's probably not like that in America.
ОтветитьSprouts is sooooo good!
ОтветитьThat sounds genius, I usually go without a list, no preparation, grabbing everything I want, getting in touch with reality, buying the things I absolutely need. Seems to work
ОтветитьNot sure why it's a hack
ОтветитьWhat's the point 😮
ОтветитьI... just get what I need to get and leave. And where's the dairy, eggs, juice/soda, bread, cleaning supplies etc... What even is the purpose of this, what problem was supposed to be fixed by shopping this way? I'm genuinely curious.
ОтветитьI do the "get the largest frozen veggie bag, 10lbs of potatoes, 2-3 heads of cabbage (super cheap), a big bag of onions, large minced garlic jar, tricolor bell peppers and carrots (these are the base for most recipes), fruit that lasts a long time (apples, citrus, kiwi, pomegrante, grapes, blueberries--whatever is on sale which usually means in season), the protein thats on the menu for the next few weeks (a large bag of boneless skinless frozen chicken, eggs, ground beef, maybe a cheap cut of beef and possibly seafood or uncut pork loin), a few cans of tuna and chicken for quick meals, a few loaves of bread and the cheapest bulkiest grain I can find (probably rice but sometimes quinoa). If we're running low, I buy my oils and fats then too (I go for olive oil, grapeseed oil and avocado oil to keep it healthy along with unsalted butter). The economy is crap rn and I'm feeding a household with 3 adults, a teenage boy and a dog.
