Which expansion you need to have the "diplomatic feedback screen"?

As Milan, if your rivals ally someone op, like Castille, Austria or France, you have the option to leave alive some OPM like Mantua or Saluzzo, because you can use them to declare on them and pull their bigger italian allies into the war without their allies of their own. I used this to chip away at Venice and Florence who had Austria and Castille as allies. Just remember to take diplomatic ideas and put those extra dipomats to target outraged countries to counter the extra aggresive expansion impact for annexing a non cobeligerant.

I appreciate you taking more time to explain how and why and where you pressed certain buttons/made certain decisions. In many of your earlier videos I found myself trying to figure out how you got to certain screens, or trying to find certain buttons which could be difficult with how your speedy editing style. Definitely appreciated!
Before I would figure out a lot of mechanics you used through context or cross referencing your videos with the eu4 wiki.
I'm trying to get a friend into eu4 by showing him some of your videos but they would go over his head without enough base context. The extra explanations help! I know these aren't 101 videos, but they're still some of the best videos out there for even the least experienced intermediate players! You rock man!

Start as milan, form Italy, expand, form Roman Empire

One of the most funniest runs while playing tall was with Bologna for the Western Spagghetti Achievment

I prefer Milan over Florence nowadays. They have a more difficult, weaker start than Florence due to crisis (weak starting leader + risk of being PU'd by France and Austria while rocking that -3 stability having to pay 250 admin to improve it) but ambrosian republic is hands down the best republic type in the game. My first leader in 1449 ended up being 3/3/3 19 y/o so I had 40+ years of 6/6/6 mana generation.

Then you just have to make sure that you pick 1/1/4 for 4 military points and strengthen your government from time to time to maintain republic tradition. In 6 years you end up with 3/3/6. In 15 you have another 6/6/6 all while maintaining high rep and being ahead of the tech.
Milanese ideas are on par with Florence. The only thing that you lose is the superior modifiers from the mission tree since Milan doesn't have any but the republic form makes it all worth it.

Next time, if you cancel an important alliance, do not take more 50 points in the peacedeal (10 of which are already in the anulling of the alliance). This way, the truce lasts for at most 10 years, and this is also the time the alliance can not be renewed. If you take for example 100 points in the peacedeal, then the alliance is renewed by the time you can attack again. Unless you do some truce-cancelling shenanigans.

Also, a coalition can form when 4 nations are elligible, not 5.

Why did Austria accept alliance? It clearly said they didn't have enough reasons and they had neg opinion?

Hey Ludi, little OT here.
After a year and a few updates, I'm having my first colonial run as France. In previous continental runs I've also noticed huge native federation forming, preventing a smooth north America colonisation. I formed 4 overseas states but every now and then they're slapped by Zuni, Iroquois and etc... evene while having truce.
How do you manage these issues? I got no notice of war declaration, I can't even help my subjects. In my opinion this kind of op native federations are really bad mechanics.

make a guide to zaporozhye, this country has unique mechanics, besides it is the only orthodox horde in the game.

not sure how the ae would have added up, but theoretically if instead of taking montferrat, in the first war you could've taken torino instead, and then if you'd done your second war against savoy as conquest and did your humiliation against someone else, you probably could've fully annexed them and got montferrat and western switzerland for no ae. still a great opening!

Worth noting you might not want to choose show strength if you can't guarantee a humiliate opportunity against another rival early. Getting the humiliation objective really helps for getting you age objectives.
