Holy smokes! Loads of info and even an in depth tutorial crammed into a 13 minute video. Beautiful machine, and the other colors are very nice too. Great video, Marc!
ОтветитьCool machine I’m thinking of getting one, i used heat exchanger in the past with BZ10. Now comparing this with Lelit Anna PID, which one should i go with? This machine cost more in colour so i may get the black version
ОтветитьHow would you say this compares to the Profitec Pro 400? Seems like the main differences are that the 400 has preinfusion, a heat exchanger and e61 group head, but with much a longer heat up time and no PID, for an extra $700! Seems like you get more bang for your buck with the Go, no?
ОтветитьI don‘t get it. I get extremely wet pucks with this machine with 18g in the double basket.
ОтветитьExcellent review. I have had my Profitec GO for 2 months and I am very pleased with it. I am making single drinks and have no problem with the single boiler work flow as outlined here. When I occasionally want to use a taller cup I remove the drip tray grid and set the cup in the tray. This way I can brew the espresso directly into hot water for an Americano easily. Cannot use a scale, but as my grind is dialed in, I can draw by time, 30 seconds. So far, I have not found a quirk or downside to the machine. PS the steam wand has been upgraded to cool touch.
ОтветитьI got this exact machine, its so good. I could of went cheaper and got the gaggia classic, but with the already installed PID, adjustable pressure/temperature , big water reservoir. All around its great for 1k.
ОтветитьMy brevelle just broke after 9 years and 7000 cycles. Rip. This one here will be my upgrade
ОтветитьHi I recently purchased this machine and received it. I was following the instructions to get the machine up and running, but the boiler is not filling. The temperature gauge will continue to go up, but the pressure gauge needle does not move. Very little water is dispensed form the group head. Help?
ОтветитьThis machine does not have a hot water dispenser.
ОтветитьLove this thing. Very capable and relatively small footprint. Will consider this when my Smeg/Dedica dies.
Ответитьhow can i make americano with th go?
ОтветитьHow far left does the steam want pivot? Is it possible to purge steam directly into the drip tray? Thanks in advance.
ОтветитьI got my profitec go yesterday, but for some reason i cant turn the portafilter all the way without applying a ton of strength. It feels like the machine is bending. Is that normal?
Ответитьhello how can i get hot water from profitec go. for americano and Does the pid control stop itself in seconds or should we stop it?
ОтветитьYou present the absolute best reviews. Such a joy to watch with no awkward misinformations as with many other channels. Thanks for your efforts to the whole whole latte love team ;)
ОтветитьHey Marc! Fantastic review! Thanks for the detailed info! Love the machine’s features!
ОтветитьThe steaming part of purging and etc is kinda annoying, but everything else is nice!
ОтветитьAny chance doing a descaling video on this one? Can’t get the steam wand to dispense water without water also dripping through the group head
ОтветитьIs this machine available in a chrome finish?
ОтветитьGood lawd that latte pour was appalling for a guy who's been selling these machines for like over a decade? 😅😂
Great review thanks!
How much steam does it produce? Does it run out like my Gaggia Classic Pro?
ОтветитьHi Marc, thanks for a great review!
Could you please share your thoughts regarding the quality of extraction between the Go machine to the new Stone machine?
Couldnt find any info in the channel regarding the Stone, However Im considering how exiting is the new tech in the stone and if it gives any edge on the Go machine.
Hope you could share your thoughts, many thanks
A vey fantastic, informative review. Was thinking about a Rancilio Silvia, now I’m not so sure, the GO looks a quality build.
Thank You Marc.
In Australia, the retail outlets have increased the price of the GO over the Casa V by $500 Aud. That is an extra 35% mark up over the US price. In fact the price has been made so high, there now is an option to look at the ECM Classica, which is $229 more than the GO. So my question is, would you recommend the Go or the Classica as the better machine, and if you can offer some reasons why, I would appreciate that. Thank you very much much if you can respond.
ОтветитьI don't understand, You are doing a flush, and afterwads You are not waiting for reaching the correct temp (179 when brewing starts). Shouldn't You synchronize the flush? That is, perform a flush when grinding coffee. Great channel anyway!
ОтветитьAny Italian machines that can compete with this? I'm willing to pay a bit of a premium for an Italian machine, maybe several hundred more dollars.
ОтветитьI've had this machine for about three months and love it. I use it every day.
ОтветитьIn Australia, this one is 30% more expensive than the Casa V. If they were about the same price, I would be buying this one.
ОтветитьAre you guys getting any of these in stock soon?
ОтветитьHey I ordered one about 3 weeks ago I’m wondering if it’s going to be delivered this week as said
ОтветитьReviews don’t come any better than this, even the internals are looked at. Much appreciated
ОтветитьGreat review! Would you still recommend the Go even without pre-infusion or is this reason enough to go for the Ascaso Steel Uno Pid (and its much higher price)? They seem to check the same boxes except for the pre-infusion. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhy on earth can't they make them ~30cm deep? This machine is not kitchen counter-friendly. Who needs a 2.8liter water bin for a home espresso machine? I was just about to buy this until I saw its depth. Damn!
ОтветитьIs there a noticeable difference between an espresso from these machines vs a budget Kitchenaid type pressurized type machine?
ОтветитьHey Marc, can you give us some guiding steps on how to descale the Profitec GO, as apparently, the manual says that it should be descaled only by professionals?
Thanks a lot!
Best,
Mark, if you are only making 1 espresso milk drink, do you need to waste the water by purging to cool down or could you just let it go down by time
ОтветитьThat puck was soaked
ОтветитьThose pucks are super wet, I'd use a smaller basket for that weight/volume of grounds. Without a solenoid valve, pucks in my old Dedica come out dry and always in one solid piece.
ОтветитьHello Marc, very good video.
I noticed that cold water fill the boiler from the top. What is the difference between TOP and BOTTOM?
In addition, I hadn't seen the neutral thermostat at the top of the boiler. Is it replaced by pid system?
Thanks!
which grinder did you use in this video?
ОтветитьIt's been a little mini dream of mine to buy a quick mill pippa now for over a year. I wanted to know if you could give me a very concise rundown of which machine you think is better. I understand there's a lot of talk about PID, but from everything I've read and watched, the Pippa doesn't have issues with keeping temp. Overall, it seems like a more high-mid tier product to me, and I love the whole hacks video you folks have up for manual pre-infusion with single boiler machines like the Pippa which has me sold on best bang-for-buck when you're on a budget but absolutely adore having the best possible singular cup of latte a day. Is there anyway you could help me out here?
ОтветитьI’d like to see how this compares to the Ecm Classika pid machine.
ОтветитьLooking at this machine with my gaggia classic pro modded, THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED FEW YEARS AGO
ОтветитьI had a Silvia someone gave me but I sold it didn't have all these features this one does and took way too long to beat up
ОтветитьFantastic Video with a lot of information. From what I see, this is a Gaggia classic pro killer. Cheers from Mexico!
ОтветитьHow would you compare this to the Bezzera New Hobby? Would you say the Profitec is better or about the same with espresso quality?
ОтветитьAnyone upgrade to this from a Gaggia Classic with PID? Wondering if it’s worthwhile or not.
ОтветитьNo it's NOT made near Heidelberg, Germany. The Profitec GO is actually made in Milan, Italy.
