Matt I understand so well. I met my soulmate and beloved when I was 29. From the moment we met there was no turning back. For 38 years we loved and lived. Then a fateful day arrived. He was being treated for pneumonia and I was told he had a few days left due to fast moving Parkinson’s disease. He came home on hospice. I had him for 6 days. The last words he was able to manage with a strong voice were “Do you have any idea how much I love you?”

He’s gone and I remain, alone. But I have something no one can ever take from me - my memories. And you have not only your children but those 15 years of memories. God bless you.
