Hey Ultimate, do you still review Indie Comics? Seeing this video is inspiring, it's a great way to give people a good look/preview of comics they could get into.
ОтветитьIndie comics are the best
ОтветитьLook out for Blowtorch Bad Roads # 1 in August previews. Coming from Comicsburgh comics...
ОтветитьIn terms of Western graphic novels, indie is the only option for me. 😂
ОтветитьYou should check out Transmetropolitan, Project Noasis, Jupiter's Circle/Legacy, and 1 other that I really enjoyed but I can't remember the actual name. It's a team of superheroes called the 7 guns, I believe, and 1 of them becomes the bad guy and starts to kill all the world leaders. Irredeemable and Incorruptible are awesome series too
Ответитьnice recommendations
ОтветитьI love comics!!
Ответитьultramega was my top pick and 2nd part better come soon
ОтветитьWe Live, Nocterra Barbaric, and Department od Truth all made my top 10 of 2021. Good report.
ОтветитьThe Department of truth, The nice house on the lake and Something is killing the children has to be some of the best comic book stories I've read
ОтветитьWhat i like about indie comics is every story is able to take from every type of story telling medium without any publisher baggage to be a certain way. Great stuff!
ОтветитьHello. I’m the co creator of The Reaper’s Touch comic book. How do I get you a copy for you to review?
ОтветитьExcellent video 👍
ОтветитьThe me you love in the dark and Geiger
ОтветитьDid you read Gieger? and if you did what you think of it?
ОтветитьThanks for the recommendations! Gonna have to check most of these out.
I love Radiant Black and it's super easy to get into as someone who also loves Invincible. Can't wait to see more of this series.
I actually backed Nocterra on Kickstarter when it was first announced (back when it was called a different title but can't remember what it was) and tbh I thought it started a little slow, but the more we learned about the universe the more I got captivated and the more I fell in love with it.
I picked up Once and Future this year, I only read up until the first arc but I loved the holy hell out of it. Can't wait to keep going, such a cool concept and Dan Mora is one of my favorite artists working today.
Man, James Tynion IV really does have one of the strongest resumes in the industry huh? I love most of what he's put out, though I have not yet gotten to The Nice House on the Lake, I wholeheartedly agree with the other two entries he's attached to that is on this list.
I agree with so much of this.
Ninjas & Robots, Bloom, and By the Horns were all really good Indies, imho, as well.
Barbaric is a solid pick. That book was amazing. I can't wait for the second volume.
