Quitting Zbrush for Blender? You'll Need This Add-on... Part 1

Holy smokes, I've been wanting somthing like this since I started scultping in blender recently! Thank you so much!

Well i tried it at last - it makes a wery small but still significant freesings when i try to rotate an object or use the brush - just in the very beginning of the movement, small but still annoying (Blender 3.6.1)

Hmmm.. i perchased it long ago but since then never had a chance to use - Blender was updated too many times :P but i dont like the Zbrush nav. stile anyway :P

3D mouse here. Only issue for me is Blender and Zbrush treat the input different so its a 5 min brain hurdle to jump back and forth between the two.

that is a very useful add on.

Don't quit Zbrush.

i would say quad remesher too is a must have if you’re transitioning from zbrush to blender.

For stylized sculpting sure u can use blender. But for realism or hardsurface?

Thanks for this. After all of these years of admiring Blender from afar, the recent Maxon-ZBrush situation is probably what'll get me installing and trying it. As many 'Blender sculpting for ZBrush users' videos you can make would probably get lots of views and likes.

What about mask ? Blender has the worst mask navigation

You could set the button of your pen to middle mouse button.

Thanks for the info, is there a way to pan and zoom if you have the brush icon over the model ??

I use a 3D mouse for rotating and works for both. I lose some jumping to shortcuts but works well for blocking out. They are a bit pricey though.

Just bind any button on tablet or pen on MMB, what the problem?

but at least in my opinion its far from being on a similar lever to Zbrush, blender crashes when u try to remesh with more polygons , by the way i use blender and i love it

Why not assign the pen button as middle mouse ... I mean why do you want it to be left mouse button since it's on a pen even your muscle memory won't have problem although I have not used zbrush so I don't know maybe it's a zbrush thing

For the longest time mouse look nav had a bug where it would freeze for half a second every time your pen touched the screen, so glad it's fixed.
