It is dangerous the thing is since they know thousands of people will watch this, they don’t want to affect Acapulcos tourism. But people should be aware of how dangerous it could really be
ОтветитьThey not answering the questions because they want Americans to visit there and spend money . They don’t wanna b too negative
Ответитьhalf those cops on tHe payroll
ОтветитьI guess the Mexican General only cares if tourism thrives…. 90% of hotels occupancy… Great job!
ОтветитьWarez is the deadliest city in mexico, but Warez is a small town, so the death per thousand is lower, it doesnt reach the news very often. Warez has been overrun with cartels for quite a long time now.
ОтветитьMexicans should have taken their country back years ago against these Norco now it's too late
ОтветитьIve been to Mexico 10 times, mostly the East coast (cancun, Playa Del Carmen, Tulum) but also Cabo and Matzalan over the past 10 years or so... its well known in the US that Acapulco isn't the place to go. The old timers love to talk about it but they dont go anymore. Cancun on the east Coast and Cabo on the west coast has everything a tourist wants (including drugs) and is leagues safer than Acapulco or Tijuana, mostly because violence against or involving international tourists is verboten because both the governments and the cartels depend on tourism. The fact of the matter is that the Mexican government focuses on protecting international tourist hotspots, and less so for places popular among Mexican nationals. It is what it is, international tourism brings in much more money than local tourism plus Americans and Canadians single handedly account for almost all of the illicit drug market and prescription drugs sold via legitimate pharmacies.
ОтветитьI lived in Mexico 12 years and you don’t talk about the cartel or the dangers, the locals make their living off the tourist. And not all the military I have met are not like Luis, lots are on the take. I have seen the death and distraction of the cartel. I have seen a lot. Living there is a lot different than visiting.
ОтветитьYou can't fight invisible gang and that gang is in government seats making trillions
ОтветитьI don’t understand why you put a regular journalist through this at least get one who’s ex military and let him be part of
ОтветитьMexico's safe, no really it is.......Why would anyone go and fund a terrorist country? Horrible.
Ответитьthis is just silly
ОтветитьMexican army is a joke
ОтветитьAs a parent my heart goes out to Luis. He's so righteous and brave and patriotic. I pray he stays safe.
The US needs to stop the flow of guns into Mexico. We know that US guns are used by the cartels and so easy to get. The US needs to do its part too.
LET TRUMP EAT THE USA, IGNORE THEM
ОтветитьMy grandson died from Fetynyl.
ОтветитьThere's no one more attractive to a cartel than a nice, trained military man. They brib them or use exortion. The most ruthless cartel members were military trained. 💀
ОтветитьThe same is happening on the beaches of tijuana
ОтветитьThank you for giving us a view into reality. God bless those brave men and you for bringing this to light.
ОтветитьPlease title of Serbian or Croatian!
Ответить¡Quan horrible las torres en la orilla de la mar!
ОтветитьI was in Acapulco in 2005, there was no opium problem then, at least on this scale. Very sad, for it was a very nice place.
Ответитьdefintiely cant trust that officer saying everything fine for tourist. all good until american, or canadian gets killed and realeased on news. also like to mention alot of locals dont want to bad mouth their community, espeically on camera. If you talk shit or snitch, cartels will find you
ОтветитьIf Marijuana had never been criminalised in the USA, in other words if the expert advice offered by professionals had been listened to, most of this insane chaos that we see all over the world would have never happened. Prohibition makes criminals wealthy beyond all bounds. Home grown pot, grown with care and affection is a wonderful plant. The ancient Persians said it well, 'A cup of Keif tea in the morning makes a man as strong as a thousand camels in the courtyard.' So true.
ОтветитьThese reporters are pretty brave to be doing this . 👍
ОтветитьFROM WHAT ME AND MY WIFE SAW WAS THE FACT THE WAR IS THEIR COPS WANT A PIECE OF THE ACTION IT'S EVERYWHERE THERE AND THEY DON'T WANT COMPETITION! SO THEY GAURD THE BEACHES!
ОтветитьHe can say arse but they bleep the word Heroin? WTF that word is central to the whole doc. Political correctness gone amok!
ОтветитьThere so fuckin corrupt I'd stay as far away from them as possible
ОтветитьSmug condescending fellow the host is
ОтветитьI have to say, going for a military perspective when the militarily in all countries are very secretive. I wish he had contacted local journalists instead.
ОтветитьTit
ОтветитьWhen clearing the fields, do they also pick up the poppies or just leave them lying there? They can still be used even with the plant cut off..
ОтветитьTop Notch work, Mr. Yates and team ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
ОтветитьTrue, but that’s not why England sucks.
ОтветитьYou know why? I suspect it’s because of the uncertainty with the drug cartel.
ОтветитьI stopped traveling to all parts of Mexico many moons ago! Sadly, I just don’t feel safe over there.
ОтветитьLegalize drugs. Sounds crazy’s I know but it should be studied
ОтветитьAnd our Mexican president slogan is abrazos no balazos...means hugs not shooting...he is acomplete idio*
ОтветитьReporter G has a serious lack of street smarts. Thus, is actually putting people in hazardous situations with his questions
ОтветитьI could only stay with this "documentary" for about 15 minutes. The jounalist did not fit well reporting in his capacity as a "Mexican soldier", and the lack of confidence by the soldiers did not help. Maybe they did think he was a cartel plant, trying to learn tactics from the inside? There are other documentaries that are more informative.
ОтветитьFor some reason when he sat down with the general it seemed very scripted to emphasize the tourist places r very safe
ОтветитьIt ain't no difference in the United States every 7 hours a innocent citizen in the United States gets killed by the police shootings they are the evil ones
Ответитьwhen was this documentary filmed?
ОтветитьIm from Tijuana México and the truth is mafia does not mes with civilians if you dont mes with them the crimes aré betwen them , americans should not be afraid to come to Tijuana they aré welcome and I hope some day they start coming down here we habe the baja wich is bewtifull for vacationing.
ОтветитьThe United States may see a similar situation due to our inability to manage our borders. A war is not the solution to Mexico's cartel problems because, over the years, the cartels have essentially isolated the country's economy and society. A significant portion of their revenue comes from other illegal pursuits including resource theft, extortion, and performing favors for politicians. Mexico has to fix its internal problems.
ОтветитьWhat would happen if the US government decided to authorize Drone strikes in Mexico?
ОтветитьPleading President Biden to send troop to assist the Mexican government anti-drug
ОтветитьPeople keep buying to feed their addiction means the cartel sells more and the farmers grow more. A vicious cycle
ОтветитьI’ve found new respect for the mission of the Mexican army
ОтветитьSo sad to see government’s willingness to succumb to cartels. As bad as it sounds is it time to legalize drugs and monitor their production and tax the product? Love and respect for those soldiers.
Ответить
