In PEMDAS, would root power have the same precedence as exponent power?
ОтветитьBest teacher ever!
ОтветитьA great review!
Ответить51 😅😅😊
ОтветитьThank you

Ответитьhello Tiffany you are very clear with your examples and was very helpful to me
ОтветитьYou don't need to know PEMDAS or any of the others. Just know that everything is addition. Exponents need to be expanded to their base value. 4^3 is 4X4X4. Then multiplication is 4*3 is 4+4+4. So we have those two being addition. Subtraction is addition. Example 1: expand the multiplication out -5*2 is -10. Then you an add to it. 32+-10.
Ответить4?
ОтветитьThank you a lot I was studying about this today but I don't was understand but now With your explanation I understood it much better
ОтветитьTiffany you are the best! I am preparing for a test, and you make math so easy. Your students are very blessed to have you. I appreciate you taking the time to share your videos.
ОтветитьMath is fun with good teachers!

ОтветитьVideo number 15 with people changing a problem and then saying Pemdas doesn't work. It's getting boring.

ОтветитьPlease excuse my dear Aunt Sally that's all you need to remember
ОтветитьGreat teacher
ОтветитьSo was the answer 61?
ОтветитьDONT BELIEVE I EVER 'LEARNED ' THE ORDER. I KNOW I WAS TAUGHT IT BUT I WAS TOO BORED TO LISTEN! LOL. THANK YOU. NICELY DONE! P E M D A S !
ОтветитьAnother one who's calling herself a mathematician ...glory. Glory, just give me a f&ucking break!
ОтветитьAnd knowing this will solve the problems of the world?? 😂
ОтветитьI am 65 and I new the order of operation. I cannot recall using PEMDAS. We were expected to remember the order by rote. I had forgotten the order except for the parenthesis part. I am now going on to review algebra.
ОтветитьYou complete me
ОтветитьThe answer is 61

ОтветитьPMDAS is a convention taught in high schools. It is not a law of mathematics and is not followed by mathematicians, physicists or engineers.
ОтветитьBIDMAS/PEMDAS is about as valid as "I before E except after C". It's a useful guide that's often correct but quite often isn't.
Consult any maths or physics textbook - they UNIVERSALLY will evaluate 1/2√3 as "one divided by twice the square root of three" NOT "half the square root of three".
Argue with maths text books and Nobel-winning physicists such as Richard Feynman if you will - but you're wrong, sorry.
You should give the answer first then if I got it roung I'll staY and watch . But now I'll nev er know cause can't be fucksd waiting.
ОтветитьTiffany is good explains in clear an concise terms, so understandable.
ОтветитьThis brings back memories. Thank you for the great refresher lesson.
ОтветитьExcellent👍
ОтветитьI wish my math teachers had used this method. I would not have been so confused and felt so stupid.
ОтветитьThis is what is wrong with teaching arithmatic (I refuse to call this math). Order of Operations is only necessary for poorly constructed expressions. If you write jibberish, you are an idddiot. Lets's eat grandma! Teach people to write properly and you don't need PEMDAS, which is not as hard and fast as arithmetic teachers think it is.
Ответить47 is the answer i think lol
ОтветитьYou maybe should write it pe(md)(as)

ОтветитьI agree whole heartedly with the comment from (mstycrk). I have learned so much more in this short video tutorial than ALL my middle school, high school and way more hours needed to obtain a bachelor's but hadn't....just yet. My hats off and a big ol applause deserved👏👏👏🙌🙌🤝🤝🤜🤛🤜🤛👍🙏🙏
ОтветитьIf I had had this when I went to college in my 50s, it would have helped me soooo much. I am going to send this to my grands. TY!
ОтветитьExcellent reviewn!
ОтветитьYou are an Excellent teacher!!! I am 70 years old never had a Math teacher like you. Will tell my Grandchildren about you, Thank you. You are a true Blessing😊❤
ОтветитьDo an example that isn’t so obvious… 60 / 5(7-5)= x.
Is the answer 24 or 6? These are the ones that cause arguments on Facebook.
Thank you for the very clear explanation of PEMDAS … AND … critical “left to right” rule. Getting correct answers now!
ОтветитьThank god I am not learning in the USA. I feel so,sorry for you and your maths. A uk citizen . Wtf, did we forget pemdasi
