how to do it just for certain values of salary?
ОтветитьThank you so much. The point about single quotations saved me! I've had this problem for a long time but could never figure out how to fix it!
ОтветитьI hate that unlike excel you have to manually enter all the values such a dumb drawback to google
ОтветитьThank you so much.
Ответитьthanks
Ответитьyou are a gentleman and a scholar, thank you for the info!
ОтветитьThanks. I was losing my mind why I am getting an error and with this video I found out it's just the (""). You got a new subscriber.
ОтветитьMVP - thank you
Ответитьthank you so much for your clear explanation! my calculated field didnt work because i didn't know to put (' ') when the column name had space. Thanks for sharing!
Ответитьthanks mate!
ОтветитьVery useful to have divisions on the video. Simple and fresh video :)
ОтветитьThanks for posting this. Overcoming the hurdle with the spaces in the column name was especially helpful.
What I'm having a hard time with is that the formula input box is too small to effectively enter a longer formula (for example, an IF statement that I need to parse a date column). Any thoughts on this?
Thanks sir
ОтветитьPretty straight forward. Thanks you very much sir
ОтветитьVery helpful! Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is so helpful and clear explanation! Thanks for sharing!
ОтветитьI'd like to do a calculated field that's based on the "Grand Total" presented by the Pivot Table itself. How do you reference that? Imagine that you'd like to add a percentage of the Salary over the 'Grand Total' (it might not make sense in your spreadsheet but it does on my data) :-)
ОтветитьSo helpful! That last part is what took me out of getting stuck. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat if I would like to use the newly created Calculated Field "salary per year of college" in another calculated field? Is there any way to make it work by just referring to its name in the formula ('cause it does not work typing the name directly)?
