Who’s got the best ring position? You can’t say Anna Pavlova 👀
ОтветитьGabby Douglas’ switch ring shouldn’t have been credited.
ОтветитьAre we allowed to say Pavlova? 😆 Cause hers are my favorite.
ОтветитьFlavia!
ОтветитьI wonder why the switch ring leap and split ring leap are valued the same on floor
ОтветитьSome of those deductions are just nit-picking.
ОтветитьBasically all USA gymnasts should get max deductions if they ever do this 🤣
ОтветитьFlávia Saraiva from Brazil, by a mile.
She should get extra points for doing them soooo well.
Flavia!!!
ОтветитьThe form of Nastia Liukin is gorgeous.
ОтветитьAndrade has an amazing ring position
ОтветитьAna pavlova had the best switch ring ❤️
ОтветитьAlyssa Baumann's ring leaps were pretty good, especially her switch ring on beam
ОтветитьAm i the only one who doesn't like Anna Pavlova's rings? Like yes the back arch is gorgeous but i could never stand how her front leg was below horizontal, its just her hyperextended knees that gave it the illusiom that its horizontal
Ответитьsuni lee!!
ОтветитьIf a skill gets downgraded to a simple leap do they also get deducted for having a bent back leg?
ОтветитьI would pick porgras, pavlova, nastia and flavia for the best ring position. Ofcourse only flavia has the variety of ring that we saw. But for switch ring, the others are stunning. :)) Just my opinion
ОтветитьI'm loving these masterclass videos!! I get so frustrated when the commentators aren't specific when they talk about "oop, that's a deduction" but I cant visually see what they mean.
ОтветитьBasically this is a skill only for Chinese gymnasts... very few gymnasts from other countries have the body type and flexibility to hit that shape for a fraction of a second.
ОтветитьI think Porgras’ is even better than Pavlova’s, but they’re just about neck and neck.
ОтветитьIulia Berar, Ondine Achampong, Viktoria Listunova and Rebeca Andrade have good ring leaps! They're my favourites!
ОтветитьNot an expert but iThink Eythora in rio 2016 also had pretty rings on floor 🙂 bad rings, well Kara Eaker and Mykayla Skinner .. wish their coaches adress those issues !
ОтветитьGreat video! Seeing the performances, i always thought that switch leaps are easier to do than splits, it looks like you get more energy to go and show the ring position. Maybe you can like explain where is the difficulty in learning or doing the skill? Also it took a while to me to understand why front skills are more difficult. Maybe not only a list of the difficulty values but also a little explanation why, would be inreresting:)
ОтветитьIts crazy none of Gabby’s switch rings should have ever been credited. Would have loved to see the judges in London as strict as they are nowadays😗
ОтветитьMy favorite current ring position is Flavia Saraiva
ОтветитьOne that is often ignored is Rebecca Andrade's one! Just look at her 2016 beam routines. I don't think she should have any deduction for those.
ОтветитьFlávia Saraiva
ОтветитьSunisa and Flavia have amazing rings. But obviously Mustafina, Huang Huidan, Pavlova are my all-time favourites
ОтветитьI like Flavia Saraiva's rings.
ОтветитьI would say Ana Porgras and Flavia Saraiva
ОтветитьPonor's on floor is pretty sick as well. She has crazy back flexibility.
ОтветитьI like Flavia’s. She hits split position with toes pointed and the only thing I can see in real time is back leg May not be at 90 degrees.
ОтветитьFlavia Saraiva
ОтветитьSunisas rings are pretty good
ОтветитьBest ring leaps: Porgras, Pavlova, Saraiva, Komova
ОтветитьI feel like most gymnasts at best lose 3 tenths on their ring leaps, because they're so technically difficult with all of the requirements. Flavia's ring positions are exquisite though!
ОтветитьObviously, Anna Pavlova <3
Russians in general used to have a good ring position.
the type of content I need during quarantine
