The first time I heard of Hopsin was is 2006, when a friend shared ill mind 5. I’ve loved his music ever since. And I WAS just like the kids he was shitting on in that song. I didn’t get offended, I respect led the way he could make such a big statement with his lyrics, giving a heavy dose of insight into what’s really going on in the world. He is passionate, intelligent, and raw. He stirs up controversy and is unapologetic. I think he deserves way more credit than he gets. Just because he’s not fitting in with most mainstream culture, doesn’t mean he’s wrong. I hope he keeps going. He’s got a lot of fans who support the game he’s playing- and soldier boy is a one hit wonder who cares
