Is taking Vitamin C with NAC(Glutathione) helpful or hurtful? GSH being mother of antioxidants, taking Vit C can be bad? Another question is NAC is OK to take with DHEA with no adverse effects? For people over 50. TIA.

Unfortunately my GF took 600-1200 per day for 4 days (to help w a lingering cough + as a detox for mild acetaminophen use, but developed rashes on her back & chest + the wheezing thing. Idk if this is die-off but have to stop taking it unfortunately.. anyone w experience w this reaction ? any help would be greatly appreciated

I have chronic hepatitis B and one of the most disturbing symptoms that i have is itchy skin. I scratched like crazy and it bled all over the place. My arms Look disgusting to other people. Dr. Berg Hi - Hoping you would be able to answer this for me. I got 2 different NAC products 1 from The Vitamin Shoppe and 1 from NOW. The vitamin shoppe one has a deep smell about it - think smells like sulphur. The NOW has no smell. Any ideas? Thank you.

Ive been taking 1000mg every morning on empty stomach for 1 month now but i dont feel any different or better. Should i expect something to change? Im in good health already and in my 30s so perhaps body just ignores it?

Do effective NAC levels take a while to accumulate in the body? (Like ie. iron supplements) or are they effective per dose? Should we be taking this daily for maintenance during the flu season or is it effective per dose when sickness occurs?

SHOCKING - Not only am I shocked but I am very angry. I purchased Pure NAC from Amazon. The results were amazing and I wrote a glowing review. Amazon refused to post my review stating that it "did not comply with Community Standards." I am so appalled. This is my experience: I became aware that I had neuropathy in my feet in 2015. I began using NAC May 1, 2023. One day in early July, I noticed that I was feeling my feet again. The change was very dramatic. I00% feeling has NOT returned. It is more than 60% though and I have hope that feeling will continue to return. In addition, I have had a serious rash for 5 years. All diagnosis have attributed the rash to dry skin.
