I think they know somehow about reciprocation, which is a powerful persuasion tool. Like, you would feed these crows who are bringing you gifts even if you aren't in the mood to so that you don't feel bad for not giving them any food in return. Contrast that to other birds who will just visit to eat

the contradictions in this video, if a crow that was rescued starts gifting you it's obviously not because it wants food from you. it's thanking you.

Crows realized that the big creatures are so dumb they can be trained to provide food simply by giving them rewards of random junk

Sad truth is that the neighbours sued them after for 200 000 and limited the food they provided to 1/4 pound a day. How sad and awful of a world we live in. Gross neighbours.
