This really shows how much Wall-E cares for EVE.

I'm definitely glad they changed this scene, all though it's well made and really shows the absolute terror that those Wall-As really impose the version they used in the movie really helps drive the plot, it really incites the final act of the movie to get home. The movie version really drives the need for them to get home, they have to fix Wall e but they can't because unsurprisingly there's no parts to fix a Wall-E on the axiom.

I love how the WALL-As were so gentle with WALL-E

Every time I watch a deleted scene, I realize why it was delted.

There’s was no scene of EVE being shocked!

I think whether we have this scene here or the one we got be in the final version of the film doesn’t really matter because WALL-E would still regardless have that near death experience with the holo-detector, and EVE would be rushed to fix him back on Earth.

In reality, we technically get two death experiences for WALL-E; one of them is from AUTO’s taser and the other from him being crushed by the Holo-detector.

Overall, I think I prefer this scene over the one we have.

So Originally Eve was the one that got injured instead of Wall-E.

They made the right choice switching it up for the final release, it made the ending scene so much better.

I like how the WALL-As treated like their child did something good when WALL-E made the trash cube

I loved watching this scene that I have never seen before. It's not bad, although I can see why it was deleted. Wall-E is the hero throughout the entire movie, so taking this away to give Eve a turn being the hero was a wise choice, and good for character development.

I find it really intriguing to see this in it's basically unfinished state.
You can tell they didn't quite polish this scene up but the animation is all there.
The lighting and minor details aren't all there yet.
Seems like they were just about to do the last pass just as this scene was cut.
I always thought the Wall-A's needed more screen time though lol.
