I just want to appreciate the choice of warm tones on the yt video. It feels good)
ОтветитьSoon 200k, well deserved Samuel!!
ОтветитьI found for myself that all these video about shooting in JPG are just marketing.
Having tried all these recipes for shooting in JPG from FujiXweekly, and I still choose Raw
Thanks Sam!
ОтветитьAny Capture One or Fuji X vids?
ОтветитьI shoot with Fuji as well!
ОтветитьHow you set the white balance when you are shooting? Thank you, Sam.
ОтветитьFilm recipe ?
ОтветитьIf fuji released an X100 with real manual focus with a distance scale, I'll sell my M10-P. The colors on the M10 is too coop and is a pain to edit for a casual shooter.
ОтветитьAnd they said the Rode PodMic isn't a side address mic...
😆
💯 Promo>SM
ОтветитьGreat video! Keep up the great work!
ОтветитьHey Sam and others, about to buy my first Fuji - your thoughts on Capture One vs LightRoom. You obviously do just fine with LR
ОтветитьWhat camera and what lens was used to record this video?
ОтветитьHey Samuel, how do you export your pics/vids to keep the same quality?
Ответитьgreat video
ОтветитьThe edited ig story pics you post, usually food, is that from a camera or an iphone edit? Curious about how you edit those and if you use lightroom mobile or similar to get that look?
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this, Sam. It’s always refreshing to hear your process and to see your minimalist approach to capturing beautiful images.
Ответитьhope all is well fam. THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO..........I was reaching out because I needed some advice. I am a scuba diver and a huge fan of Fujifilm. I have both GFX 100 and the 100s. I have a question if you had to build a underwater system for one of these cameras. which one would y9u go with.
ОтветитьJust use recipes and call it a day lol
ОтветитьDef feel the same when I got into photography the trend was to really over edit images. I shoot now as simple as possible keeping the image as real true to life as possible
ОтветитьCan you do a video like this with the R5 because the raw files in Lightroom completely change from what you shoot in camera. Ide like to know how you deal with that file.
ОтветитьThis is one I have been waiting for my friend…thank you so much for sharing your insight and being transparent with your process.
I’m a huge fan of your work and I also shoot the Fuji system so there is a ton to take away from this video.
I really love your simplistic approach and you couldn’t have said it better regarding doing what you can to get as much dialled in camera as possible.
Great stuff mate! 🤌🏼
I just asked this on your q&a yesterday lol😅
ОтветитьWhat do you prefer as your daily driver? The XT5 or actually the GFX100S?
ОтветитьGreat video. I like how simple you keep your edits. But the warmth in your images you add it with temperature or sometime you use the split tone?
ОтветитьSo, are you saying that it is easier to adjust colors in raw images if you adjust the jpeg the way you like it in the camera? Thanks Sam! Geoff
ОтветитьNice take away I had for portraits: starting with the Velvia profile on raws in Lightroom. I've always struggled with getting richer tones in studio portraits, especially with people of color. I started fiddling with that on some existing images, and was impressed that it was easier to pull back the saturation than it is to add saturation with some of the other profiles. Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat information! Looking forward to the lighting set-up videos.
ОтветитьSomething I kinda learned from you and that helped me a lot is how important white balance is. I used to shoot in auto wb all the time and many cameras tend to be too cold or lean towards magenta with auto wb. If your eyes aren't that trained yet you just think why does my image look so bad and don't really understand why. Shooting Daylight, Cloudy, Tungsten wb instead made my raw files so much better and a better starting point for editing.
Ответитьhey sam, im a huge fan and im in the market for a upgrade on my equipment so i hope you dont mind me asking. if you had choice, would you get a R5 or GFX system (50s ii) ?
ОтветитьIt is always so refreshing hearing your process and I already knew I gravitated toward you because of your simplistic approach to editing and focus on in camera shooting. It’s funny because I fell in love with photography through the editing process but the more I shoot the more I find it a nuisance. These days I find myself importing directly to my phone and editing from there because it’s simple, quicker and convenient. I still love to edit but it’s your simple approach that I too align with that makes the overall experience so much better. Hope you’re well, Sam!
ОтветитьAs always, dope video my friend!
Also you left 3 minutes of black at the end haha
just so you know the last couple minutes are blank!
ОтветитьHey Sam, could you do a video using the Sony ZV-1.. I love your style and want to see what the camera is capable of. Thanks
ОтветитьWould love to see you doing a review on Leica SL2 + APO-Summicron-SL lenses
ОтветитьAlways love your colors, this really is and interesting episode Sam
