Hi Dr Idress. I like your Videos. I screwed up my skin so bad with Tretinion and trying different products to help my dry skin. I m 56. I used to have acne and due to my misuse of different products I break out again and my skin is extremely dry. I wish I could see you as a patient since I don t get much help here but I live close to Chicago. Right now I just use vanicream and noticed that it also has ingredients that can cause breakouts like cetearyl alcohol and ceteareth-20. I thought I would do something good. Right now everything burns on my skin besides the vanicream. I also developed milia. Hope Vanicream doesn t make it worse. I m at my wits end. Any suggestions?

I will say that for someone like me who had perfect skin before the age of 31, I never had issues with skin allergies to ANYTHING, ANY TIME! Then I developed Rosacea with dermatitis and everything changed. Now, I can use Vanicream SPF 60+ sunscreen and no other sunscreen ! Nothing else will work for me, as I break out in a rash!

Hi! I just need to ask a few questions. Is your new beauty line anti-aging at all? If not can I add something or a couple things! I want to buy it but if it’s not for me? I’m a big fan. Love all your advice and giving us other advice.

What about mixing ingredients? If you add a product after using a different one and testing that one out as you said and then you add another one and your skin flares is that Bc they don’t combine well or just the product you added isn’t good for you

When the majority of people say they have sensitive skin, I get beyond frustrated as they typically don't. I literally can't use hair products for fear of breaking out around my hairline within 24 hours (without sweating and with hair tied up)! I'm severely allergic to CeraVe moisturizing cream, for crying out loud, and must take an antihistamine if using it. I had to completely stop wearing make-up two year's ago due to an immediate reaction upon foundation application, regardless of the foundation.

Oh and my favorite SPF50 is also made by La Roche Posay - it is their UVMUNE 400 fluid! 😃👍 Awesome product! Super light and doesn’t break me out. I love it so much! It’s perfect underneath the makeup as well.

I have dry and sensitive skin 🙋🏼‍♀ For that reason I absolutely love La Roche Posay Lipikar line of products! I tried their products for showering and moisturizing my body, and I will try their products for the face as well after finishing the products I already have for my face. I only use fragrance free skincare. I prefer them over CeraVe because a lot of CeraVe products contain mineral oils that break me out.
I use makeup daily though and I try to use mostly makeup that is cruelty free and often times fragrance free (not always, but in some products the fragrance doesn’t bother me - lipsticks, eyeshadows, lip glosses…). Estée Lauder Double Wear is a fragrance free foundation but it is not cruelty free and that’s a bummer. I just ordered Light Wonder foundation from Charlotte Tilbury and hopefully my skin won’t react to it. I’ve seen Charlotte putting that foundation on someone who has rosacea so I’m hopeful 😊 I don’t have rosacea though.
Anyways, love your channel! Thank you for your help! ❤

As someone with sensitive skin who is in my 40s, I am constantly trying products only to have them make my skin itchy, burn, and irritated. This is one reason I generally stick with a product once I find something that works, until they stop making it or change the formula.

I have been devouring your channel since I found it last night and this information is SO amazing. Thank you!!!!

I am allergic to metals, especially nickel but also copper. I would like to know if copper as a skincare ingredient can make me react. Something makes me trigger dermatitis, especially around the eyes, and I can't figure out what, could copper peptides, copper Gluconate (LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 has it) and other coppers do that to me? so desperate!
Thank you for so much help I already had from you
Best regards
Cristina

Regarding Patche testing: I have weird sensitive skin. Most of the products gives me itchiness on my chin (around my lip area) only, the same product no irrigation /itchiness on rest of my face. I can use few things like cerave moisture & facewash without any itchiness.

As a result my chin area is little bit darker than my face. I am so frustrated and feel terrified to use new products.

After a few months things started to look a lot better, but not enough ! Then today I woke up with a completely irrTated skin with everything back
My dermo added Trentinoin today! I a worried it will make things worse ? Could u suggest what to do. I feel every upset! My doctor believes it is a serious allergy and hormones . Could this be?

Hi Beautiful! A little over 3 years ago, I went from combo skin to very dry (not much sebum is produced), reactive skin in less than a year. Several doctor visits from varying specialties have left me with no help and the notion it’s hormones from possibly perimenopause. Problem is my skin is very uncomfortable and I can’t seem to put together a skin routine that helps even a little bit. I am very frustrated and have found myself being more solitary because I can’t wear makeup well. Do you have any suggestions on a routine and/or products?

Can you build a tolerance to a product? Ive been using the differin dark spot serum and I find my skin gets red and i have gotten just a few little papules from it.... thoughts? Id like to focus on my sun spots (result of being a swimmer) and fine lines (result of being born and well you know days going by 😄) but am concerned about a reaction vs skin tolerance.

I understand that we should really try a product for 3 months to see if it works for us. What about ingredients? So, for example, let’s say I’m using Tatcha’s vitamin C serum. If I did that for one month and switched to a vitamin c serum from another company for 2 months, is that 3? So, is it 3 months for the ingredient or the particular brand’s product. Hope this makes sense!

I’m having this skin rashes for months. I believe it’s called pityriasis rosea. I saw a dermatologist and she prescribed me ketoconazole and wynzora. Been consistently applied it for more than a month but it doesn’t seem to go away. I would appreciate if you can make a video about the cause, treatment and what I can do to avoid reoccurrence in the future. Thank you ♥️
