Memories driving home to Invercargill from a beach day in Riverton listening to Southland vs. Otago on the radio in 2001, I was 6 years old. That rivalry was the only NPC game that really mattered to me.

Have been out of Southland for the past 20 years but still absolutely love seeing the joy in the crowd on a day like that. Keep it up boys!

Good to see Faletoi finally get a crack at ITM. He had a strong game for Southland, hopefully many more games to come for the AKL talent!

Ref was on point this game. Calling out all the stupid penalties that Southland were doing all game. Playing like that will lead you right where you are.
