Who found Arrested Development ep 1 confusing? Like there's subtle humor and gags in the show, but the plotline was never that hard to follow.
ОтветитьI didn’t find this show until it was on Netflix and I love it. Also, Fox cancelled too many shows I liked so I would always stay away. Their dedication to bs reality shows sucked.
ОтветитьTop 10 best show of all time
ОтветитьIt's a tale of why producers and ceo's should keep their filthy capitalist mitts off people's art.
ОтветитьIt's a show that you either love or hate, I'm baffled fox picked it up.
ОтветитьTHE greatest sitcom of all time.
ОтветитьPeople didn’t want to pay attention to all the background gags in Police Squad or Airplane too?
ОтветитьUsed to love this show so much
ОтветитьSeems like it’s personal
ОтветитьI can sit and watch the first four seasons of this show over and over. It never gets played.
Ответитьare you sure about that? its one of the best shows ever produced but ok
ОтветитьMy takeaway is the studio heads are the lamest, uncreative, controlling Machiavellian assholes that couldn’t do anything outside of being miserable trolls
ОтветитьSeeing as Fox beat NBC in a bidding war for Arrested Development, I can’t help but wonder what could have been if NBC won instead; maybe they wouldn’t have been as interfering or cheap on marketing as Fox, and the series wouldn’t have been canceled so soon… 🤔🤔
ОтветитьFirst 3 seasons were as close to perfect as possible. I still watch them on Netflix. Thank you to all involved.
ОтветитьYou refer to Jeffrey Tambor's work on Larry Sanders and then claim that Arrested Development was this original never done sitcom. It borrows HEAVILY from Larry Sanders. Natural lighting, no laugh track, playing it straight.
In fact, all comedies like The Office ((both original British and US), 30 Rock, Parks and Rec, Arrested Development, Community are influenced by The Larry Sanders Show.
Best comedy ever... 😂
ОтветитьThis show is the ape of evolution as is this to shows like the office parks and Rec and modern family
ОтветитьI caught on to this show so late but i love it so good❤
ОтветитьOne of the best sitcoms ever made. Clever comedy. Wish it would have gone longer in its original format (not netflix).
ОтветитьI conceived my daughter watching this
ОтветитьI remember the series premiere when it first aired on a Sunday night. I was 12 and was procrastinating on doing my homework, the thought of going back to school on Monday was brutal... I remember all the wacky random moments and thought it was really fun. Sadly whenever I would try to introduce the show to anyone they never could get into it... Kinda annoying actually lol
ОтветитьI lost it for half an hour after that Mr F when Fox showed up
ОтветитьNot a shit show. A severely underrated show. One of the funniest shows ever
ОтветитьArrested really was a brilliant show … except for the British spy story arc. It was such a waste of Charlene’s involvement, and just such a stupid plot line. I could never make sense of its inclusion in the show
Ответить“Solid as a rock!”
ОтветитьWhat about Netflix?
ОтветитьThis biggest problem was that it was on Fox..... Mista F. I'm dead
ОтветитьA friend of mine was raving about it and I tried, I just couldn't get into it.
Then about a year later I gave it another shot - by then the show had sadly been cancelled - and I was hooked.
I've seen it over and over again and god damn it's so good.
Grow up
ОтветитьThis show was great fucking great.
ОтветитьEpic show series
ОтветитьTrailer Park Boys was the first iteration of the comedy docu-series.
ОтветитьIt is one of the, if not the best comedy show ever created. It's a shame the show got canceled, but it makes the show's jokes so much funnier knowing about this...
ОтветитьI was far too young to understand everything but I remained glued in, somehow I knew there was something there. I couldn't be on the internet to shout it's praises but I am stilllaughing at every rewatch.
ОтветитьAre you just going to ignore the fact that they made 2 more seasons?
ОтветитьI’ve only met one person who watched Arrested Development when it came out. This show HAD to watched on DVD and binge watched to see the inside jokes. I had to put it on Netflix over and over for my wife to understand the genius. Season 2 has some eye catching episodes but watching it over and over the more jokes you find.
ОтветитьI worked in the industry many moons ago and worked with writers and directors in talks with Fox. I know for a fact that EVERYONE who works at Fox is mentally... challenged. Fox Studios is a wonderful work program giving individuals who can't tell the difference between drooling and talking a place to go during the day, keeping them off the streets. Fox, a company made up barely literate morons, giving the differently abled something to do during the day!
Edit: I genuinely need to make this clear, I'm barely exaggerating. Most of the people I dealt with at Fox were shockingly stupid. I swear to you I have never seen so many stupid people (like close to drooling stupid) in one place working together. It was an absolutely fascinating and horrifying experience. Again, honest to god swear on my mother's life, I'm barely being hyperbolic. The people who work at Fox are genuinely mentally disabled. It's honest to god insane and I wish I was kidding.
Sorry… but… “cirsumvent”?!?!
What!?!?!?
I loved it, I can’t believe it wasn’t more successful
ОтветитьEveryone copied this format after.
ОтветитьI was apart of the Audience that Refused to Watch it.
ОтветитьThere has never been a more brilliant and lol show. People who don't get it are stupid
I said what i said😊
Don’t sir-sum-vent this show!!
ОтветитьThis is one of if not my favorite show and you made this documentary incredibly entertaining as well. Loved watching it, well done 😂
ОтветитьWhat a brilliant show populated and run by some of the best in the business. That the studio execs didn't understand it explains pretty well everything you need to know about why tv is so terrible.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite show of all time. Its got the best rewatch value, and the best jokes. I still laugh, even watching it as much as I have
ОтветитьI loved the show but, sadly, it is the kind of thing that can't be sustained forever. Even if it had all the support from the network and the viewers, it would still have flamed out. It's just sad that we didn't get to have more of it.
ОтветитьRon Howard talks about filming in a "docu-feel" style as though no one had thought about it before. Had he never seen The Larry Sanders Show (co-starring Jeffrey Tambor for heaven's sake!)? Garry Shandling was way ahead of them all - Arrested Development, The Office (either version), Parks & Rec.... And The Larry Sanders Show still better than all of them.
