Such an old video now, but still a great video. Marques was ahead of everyone else even 9 years ago.

I got my set of ATH-M50X headphones today, and I was waffeling a bit over if I should return them and make do with my old(ish) set of Marshall Major headphones.
Boy, am I glad I didn't! They offer fantastic sound (I know it's a cliché by this point, but I really could hear details in music I'd never noticed before, like almost inaudible whiskers on the hi-hat).
Music sounds nice and crispy, and the headphones have a really nice balance between bass and treble.

One thing I did alter, was swapping the leather-earpads out with some made of velvet. I wear glasses, so I'll take the extra comfort if I can get it.

I can't wait to test them out with my turntable tonight (the main reason I bought them). 😊

can you use the cable for technics 1200??

9 years later and i just got a new M50x haha, those headphones are too good to be true!

The audio jack doesnt stay in on my phone..

Are they stil holding up after 9 years?

Bought them 9 years later as I was just using Bluetooth but the listening experience through an Audio interface with lossless is so much better for home use

I want to use m50x to listen to high quality music on iphone 14 pro max, what device do I have to buy to connect without losing sound quality. Please help me tell me that product.

Beyerdynamic DT 770 PRO - 32 Ohms ?
For listening to music on a smartphone, which ones do you think are better and which ones are more resistant to breakage in the long term?
Will 38 Ohms for a smartphone sound better or worse than 32 Ohms in general?

Are they worth purchasing when i already have dt900 x pro?
