Like the sound of the rode pro but feature of DJI2...
I'm not sure what to buy
So it seems like everyone likes the sound of the Rode but functionality of the DJI 2.
Ответить3
ОтветитьThank you Anthony ❤
ОтветитьThey all sound like shit, plugin a proper lavelier, advantage: they look less stupid as well 🤣
ОтветитьDefinitely Rode Wireless Pro (Mic 3) sounds the best. In my opinion, it sounds bassier and more like a podcast mic than the DJI 2.
Ответитьwhere do you gte backgroung music
ОтветитьFor my old ears, #3 Mic was the best sounding, with a far deeper bass response, for a warmer sound in your voice. But all of my audio goes into Audition to get tweaked, so in the long run, it does not matter. The Rode mics do fit into a really nice handheld contraption with a big ass windscreen.
ОтветитьI was going to get wireless pro but after this video i am going to get DJI because of the size, phone connectivity and noise canceling to really reduce my content creation workflow
Ответить3 the best.
ОтветитьThoughts on the Hollyland Lark Max?
Ответитьmic2/mic3 sounded best
Ответитьreally like your review, it made my choice clear
ОтветитьAfter watching a lot of review videos, I have to say that the sound of DJI Mic2 is what I really like, and they did it!
ОтветитьI am writting my consolusion after a very tough comparsion of the 2 mics regarding sound quality!
DJI MIC 2 Firmware version: v04.02.01.13
Røde Mic 2 Firmware version: 1.2.8
1) Using Røde Lav II mic on both units (DJI Mic 2 , Røde Wireless Pro) :
-- Noise Cancellation off , No Low cut filter :
Simple! They both almost identical. You will never beleive it. You can't prefer one other the second. They might sound different if you compare them using 2 different LAVs which is not fair.
-- Noise Cancellation On (DJI MIC2) :
Røde Wins 100%.
2) NO LAV on both , RAW audio, No DeadCat wind shield. Both clipped equally on the top of my shirt:
Røde : Better sound quality! Way better than the DJI Mic 2. Of course it depends on your voice and how much is the difference for your voice, but in General from audio samples from others as well, I found the Røde sound quality is more pure and native and fuller
So, Finally: in case you will be using both with LAV, I think you are good to go with the one you prefer more.
- if you care about the nice design and the very handy touch screen and compact case, DJI Mic 2 is the winner.
- If you care about the noise reduction, then DJI is the clear winner.
- If you are going to be hybrid between LAV and without, then the clear winner is the Røde.
- If you are going to use it for street interviews, Røde is the winner again.
If you have any questions, Let me know! :)
the worth upgrading comment is very helpful.
ОтветитьThanks for that, Anthony!. Not joking - I did pick the lineup. But I can't really tell the difference in sound between the DJI and DJI2. And it's weird that I think that number 3, the Rode II, has the deeper. more bassy sound. Probably just my headphones. But I will be getting the DJI2 combo for it's features and small size.
ОтветитьSkimmed through, Gotta get back to creating videos! :)

lol
Great video, thank you so much for that blind test. I want the feature set of the DJI 2, but the most important quality to me is quality of sound, and from what i can tell Rode Pro is the best to me. I am kind of surprised you picked the DJI mic 2 over the Rode Pro to carry. Do you think the Rode Pro, or any of these mics, would be suitable to record music? On my travel videos i bring a travel guitar with me and like to play/(attempt to) sing, do you think that could work? Really appreciate the video and any response!
ОтветитьI have them both. Rode Pro has better quality audio, DJI mic 2 has a better user interface. I use the DJI Mic only with the Pocket 3 but for everything else I use the Rode Pro.
ОтветитьGood video, but that background music really got on my nerves. You don't need it anyway; I clicked play to listen to YOU and what you had to say!
ОтветитьDid I miss it didn't you do any range test? Pretty important if you ask me
ОтветитьIn other reviews I gave the Rode Wireless Pro the win for a richer deeper audio. On this one I couldn't tell the difference!!!
Ответить#3. Random question: can you interchange the laveliers from Rode to DJI and vice versa, or do the fittings not support this, i.e guessing Rode's threaded lavelier might not work with DJI Mic 2?
ОтветитьSo unbelievable helpful like always. Thank you Anthony!!!🚀🙏🏻 And congrats to your engagement ❤
ОтветитьBest review on this so far. The blind test was excellent. Still can't decide between the DJI M2 or the Rode Wireless Pro.
Would have been great if you threw the Hollyland Lark into this too.
Great job mate.
Rode wirless go II has 32bit float audio...
Is rode Wireless Pro available as single channel?
DJI available as single channel for half the price..
Bluetooth and intellig noise cancellation is advantage, rode pro which is mic3 sounds soothing crip which make people more attentive..
But if buying single channel, case wont come with it whether dji2 or rode pro...
What's best for interviews?
Whats best for music recording?
Kindly answer bruh, then i will sub..😂❤
a few questions. 1. Can 32-bit sound be recorded into the camera? via a transmitter. when using Rode? When using DJi mic v2? 2. If I use the same lavalier microphone, will the Rode have an audio advantage? 3. Does noise canceling work with the lavalier microphone? ps. Don't forget that the Rode comes with two lavalier microphones and that's cool. Thanks for answers!
ОтветитьIt’s all about number 3
ОтветитьThis is a really tricky comparison because depending on your voice one mic could be better for you than the other.
ОтветитьVery nice comparisons with lots of details. I think now I know where I'm leaning towards.
Ответитьmic3
ОтветитьThey all sounded the same kinda all muffled 😅 the NTG3 was nice & crisp
Ответитьthe background is awesome like with the noise from something clipped etc
ОтветитьI wish I could afford the The Rode Wireless Pro but I am not monetized yet 😀. But thanks for the info, its on my list.
ОтветитьI've paused and I am answering .. I like 3,4,2,1 in that order. Now to find out which is which.
Ответить#3 for me, which is a shame for me. I've got the rode2, and hate it. The battery has never given me more than 15-20 minutes on the transmitter, maybe 30-40 minutes on the receiver, so I won't be buying another of theirs.

Ответитьmic 3 sounded fuller ,better frequency range
ОтветитьI have the DJI Mic 1 & upgrading for the Noise Canceling functionality. Much better for Smart Phones than Rode.
ОтветитьNo one seems to bother testing these against each other with a lav mic. Since I always use a lav mic, sadly, none of these reviews so far have told me what I really need to know…
ОтветитьGreat video. Do you know if on the Smart Bluetooth connectivity if it will work for action cameras like the DJI Action 3? When using that camera mics plugged in are always in frame with out zooming/cropping.
Ответить3
ОтветитьMic 4 sounded best
ОтветитьHi IThanks for the clear video, use the dji mike 2 with the osmo pocket and I use timecode for multi camera editing so I understand that this DJI mike 2 mike can also be used with the osmo pocket 3 greetings janoessfilmmaker Netherlands
